Speaking for Myself...until getting Zica laser preffered Vulcan Cannon bot in main and rear slots and pack of plasma storm sidekicks. Vulcan on 11th lvl was far more powerful, than any other weapon, yet it had little drawback...firing for more than 7 seconds in row drained almost all energy from generator, if you did not had graviton pulse wave generator (that most expensive one). Also preffered Gencorde Phoenix fighter 'cus of that cool look

Hmmm... Let me see if I still remember it... That would be the heavy missile launcher for primary weapon, upgrade level 4 if I'm not mistaken. Rear weapon is the vulcan cannon or pulse cannon, lower level. The ship itself is a 2nd level basic type of ship... Probably Microcorps reactor and basic shielding. No activated secondary weapons...

Yeah I've had it. If you type weird at the title screen (obviously rather hard on the psp) you'll play an arcade game with the carrot, and all weapons are food inspired.

There's an anecdote I found on the Web written by the guy who made all of the art---single-handedly.  He said the designer asked him to "make some art"; the designer liked it, so the artist worked "all day" for an entire summer to get it done. Remember, this is basically pixel-by-pixel hand-made.

Love Tyrian, have a lot of good memories. You woulda made this level a heck of a lot easier with a Plasma Storm sidekick, though. XD

This game works perfectly with XP and DosBox. Tons of secrets (be sure to read the FAQs!). Btw, this is my favourite song in the game.

In fact, it'll work on any operating system that's supported by DOSBox. I play it on the Mac version of DOSBox.

Best game I played up until FF7 as a child... (16 now) Thanks for the memories.

Also this and Raptor Call of the Shadows had the best music of all dos games ;D
