Did you know that funnel webs will take a bubble of air down underwater with them - they can live there for a few days. My girlfriend used to let her friends swim in her pool then when they were in she'd point out the funnel webs on the bottom of the pool!

Billy Connolly is without a doubt the most sensational comdien and I feel almost proud that he comes from scotland but I think this is when his comedy started to deteriorate. When he became famous and started hanging about with celebrities he lost his greatness because he made up all his stories and jokes based on where he grew up and the funny people he lived around and when he lost that his sense of humour started to go with it because he got a few smiles from me in this video but nothing more

don't get me wrong I think in his younger years he was great but I was just replying to wolfgirl996's comment with what I thought which is what we're supposed to do, no offense. If you like stand up check out lee evans unlike connolly he got better with age, that's because he turned down Hollywood fame and a lot of movie roles and kept the 'normal guy' that made everyone love him. Believe me he's worth having a look at.

Lee Evans has never once made me laugh in over 15 years of seeing his standup. He's bendy, I'll give him that but is it funny? Not really.

I know he wasn't that funny in his early stuff which is quite disappointing but in the more recent tours such as XL tour 2005 and The Big tour O2 in 2008 he is at his best, he is over a hundred times funnier than he was a long time ago. I know once you don't like a comidien it's hard to give them another chance but try checking out his more recent tours, like I said he improved a lot with age.

I was talking about his normal guy appearance in his standup. And besides that he could be a hell of a lot more famous than he is now because he has had a lot of offers for films he has turned down. He was asked why in an interview with Johnathon Ross and he said he was already away from his family too much The very reason he is not world renowned is because he is such a down to earth guy. Someone who gives up world fame in favour of his family yeah right that's what i would call a normal guy
