There were many ideas of an ending where either Reg Cox or Den Watts dreamt the whole eastenders years.

First I'd would have a big storyline involving Nick Cotton trying to bump off the Square and him getting killed himself. The one's that would survive would reminise(flashbacks, Den, Angie, Fowlers, Beales, Butchers, Slaters etc) I'd have original members return to tie up loose ends or maybe last scene Den turns up as a ghost and winks at the camera. Then they could play this tune.

Hee r some ideas for the last few episodes of this show (hope it never comes). Mitchell feud gets resolved, say with something like Bobby and Louise getting married when they r grown up. Billy is happy by the end. There is somesort of flashback(s) with every main character ever on the show. Every character that hasn't died on or off the show comes back and everyone has one last drink in the vic.
