Well I have played some of it, Well I've never played the original's DS version but did play the original one for the Wii but I have this for the DS but not for the Wii, i might just get the Wii version for the heck of it (as I got Mario Galaxy which I've already have as a gift from My uncle this Christmas I can't blame him though we hardly see each other so he din't know I'll probably pick up the Wii version if the events aren't all almost hard like the first one and for the fact *2bcont.*

and for the fact its the only other game I know that catches My interest that uses the forecast channel data (even if they can't get My exact city its still a neat feature but I know it'll probably replace rain with Snow not that it will bug Me though. ) Anyways I do have the DS version of it because so far I've heard that reviews went over better for that version of this game than the Wii version, and I was curious about the Adventure Tours story mode exlusive to it *2bcont.*

Even though I did hear the story is really farfetched to put it lightly I did still feel that so far its the closest thing we have to Mario and Sonic teaming up for to accomplish a goal to stop something evil. Anyways for those curious there are missions in the Adventure tours where you talk to a character from either series or a shy guy or chao next to a message board you earn crystals by clearing missons and if you beat a character thats playable they join your group after defeat *2bcont.*

Playale characters join your group after defeat with the exception of bosses and midbosses. You earn at least for crystals so you can destroy ice walls first you have defeat the midboss after destroying the first and then the real boss after destroying the second and then they free the snow spirit who will be involved in the next level. You also do need certain equipment from chests before you can do certain missions theres the normal winter island and dream islands *2bcont.,*

and dream islands where dream events take place. Also as you expect Mario is a silent progtagonist but this time surprisingly so is Sonic but I don't think thats a bad thing as he's said some really cheesy things in the past so maybe its best he stays quiet in Adventure tours due to its poor plot anyways on to the events themselves they can range from extremely easy to insanely hard My favorite Extreme Snowboarding is a Mario Kart like Snowboard race. You can change wheather to cloud snow or Sun

*Also I'm very sorry for how long that was I just wanted to give a slightly more detailed discription of the game so people could make a choice if they want to buy it I'll understand if anyone hates Me* The DS version is good so I say buy it. Its a good collection of addictive minigames and the adventure mode while ludiciros at times can also be enjoyable if you're only in it for the events.Its also nice seeing a Mario and Sonic team up since Brawl implied it for SSE but never did it on screen.

You know I just realized, this makes me even more confused about where Sonic lives (I mean what or where the world he lives in is). I mean most people could simply say that the game is non-canon to the universe but I haven't heard that from a source from Sega, and since the DS has a story mode it confuses Me even more. I'm not sure because this game has real world locations but at the same time it has locations from both Mario and Sonic's worlds I know its a spinoff but even *2bcont.*

but even then it has some connections to some of the major games, and not to mention the DS version's story mode that I mentioned earlier which kind of confuses Me, I mean I don't know if this means Mario and Sonic live in the same world now or what. Sorry I'm just a little confused. I mean this really confuses Me I don't know if this means our world Mario's world, and Sonic world are all connected now. Makes Me a little confused but maybe I'm just stupid and am thinking too much.

well as much as we'd love to see mario and sonic team up to save the world, if you think about it combining sonics speed stages with mario's platforming would be difficult, and if they do more of one of the characters stages then the others then people will bitch, so they do stuff like this instead
