Yeah, I figured you'd say that. In Maine, it's called "Angry Maine Accent That Massholes Steal And Call Their Own", but it's not very catchy, is it. Ah well, doesn't matter.

In all seriousness, though, it's a New England accent. It's regionally-based, like a Southern accent. Where exactly it came from, I don't know.
