there was a woman(she wrote the song) and a man, and they had a little girl together.

but then one day they were at the beach/lake and they heard someone drowning, so the dad tried to save the boy, but died doing it.

because it was the 19th century, it was hard for a woman to make it on her own, especially w/ a child. but because she trusted in Jesus(hence, the title), she recieved help from friends and family.

there's a music video on it, i saw it at church.

Unfortunately, old sin habits can take time to break. Keep returning to the Savior, who continues to forgive. Can I encourage you in remaining faithful to HIm? Spend time in HIs Word, pray, and seek the fellowship and counsel of other believers.

Thank you for video. For some reason, I haven't heard a song by Casting Crowns yet. I think this might be the best version of the song ever. Just the start of it gave me goose bumps. Good choice in pics. Although God loves us even more than we love our own children, this is probably the only way to show some of that love. Also it shows the happiness that we can have if we simply put our trust in Jesus, as we put our trust in our fathers when we are children. Thanks again.
