We won't ever have to start wars in foreign countries for electricity, and there are no oil spills. If the big companies won't build good electric cars and bikes for a reasonable price, it looks like we have to do it ourselves. I notice the companies who make the motors and batteries have a lot of stuff that is back ordered. One of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal economy.

ebikes are fun but the weight and battery life is a huge problem. Small petrol motors are still far superior in practicality.
