I managed to find my old copy of this game, and man, it's harder then I remember! You make it look easy, but then again, you've probably played it a long time.

One thing, I have the PC version, and the sound effects play, but no music plays. Is that just because it's an old game on a newer system or what?

@atrocity3010 Something to do with recent OS's. On my old Win98 machine music plays but not on my new Win7 Ultimate 64bit. :P Still, I can just use my old PSX game disc with ePSXe. Besides, it looks better with an OpenGL plugin for video and all that stuff.

It's some strange compatibility issue. My XP SP2 comp can run it w/ sound but any windows higher with that can't. I stopped using my XP SP2 comp a while back when I got a Win7 64-bit laptop, so now I own the PSX version of frogger.

It's the timer. Once the bar empties, you lose a life. You can give yourself more time by eating time flies.

you can still play it on a high tech computer. Install it, right click on it, click on properties, click the compatibility tab, click "run this program as a compatibility mode for" box and select windows 95. good luck hope that works...

I could play this game for days on end, but the Sewer levels always give me headaches, plus they're the only levels for which I have not found the Golder Frog (over almost 7 years of owning the game). This video should help with that. :)

in uncanny crusher you can super jump on top of the crusher things with the spikes.

the only problem with that is you can only stay on it for a few seconds or else you will die. not only that some of the crushers are moving fast so if you try to jump off, you might get killed

Wow... all these years, and I finally got the answer! Don't worry molly! If you have Windows Media Player, you can listen to the soundtrack if the disk is in the computer, but it still doesn't make it into the game itself. :(

did anyone who ever played the uncanny crusher level find that the oil bit always seemed to obey its own rules on how frogger could move?

i always had the problem of turning onto the wall to stop movin but sometimes it would react late or push me one square forward ... thus killin me,

so then i try to react one square back, which then procedes to work perfectly .... but turning into the crusher, at which time i go to pc world and get a new comp .. lol
