  • Wow there amazing! <3 the music

  • Wow there really good! What level of vaulting are they?

  • Wow! There really great! My friends on a vaulting team and she loves it! Way to go!!!

  • Amazingly docile horses! <3

  • ive been doing it for 2 days and i can sit backwards trotting, move around while his trotting and almost get on by running when he runs. i dont have an instructor for it. and i dont have to right surcingle- will buy one soon!!! :) its soooo fun!

  • this is actualy realy hard i have been riding for 5 years and i can only stand on the pony's back while walking. then again i havent had any lessons, even still...

  • @aJDfMDI

their are 3 reasons that there are for injuries and safety:

    rider loss of control,

    poor environment,

    and rider ignorance.

ever notice how this is a sport controlled by the lunger? totally safe.

also, the environment is always soft ground, and their are Audience saftey requierments.and last, these are always highly trained proffesionals who practice a TON.

    now do you see?

  • IM SO PROUD TO BE A VAULTER!!!!!!!!

  • @lovejanevolturi

this is actually the safest horse sport, beileve it or not.

  • @MrMonkeybutt711, uh dressage.

  • i would be scared to death!

  • fantastic :)

  • look at all the fans

  • @watchhowwedothis ahahaha I know.. kinda like the WNBA eh?

  • @futurejockey8 family guy reference. i like you style.

  • I bet if my boyfriend thought he could have all those girls like that, he'd finally learn to like my horses!

  • I DO THIS AT MY CAMP, SO HARD! props man and ladies!

  • whoa awesome

  • i waited for the chrash the whole time, but it never came! i was scared! :P SOO CRAZY!

  • i love how the first person dismounts - it was like swing her round aaand, let goo! :)

  • jeez, i do gymnastics and horseback riding, but not at the same time. that looks so freaking HARD

  • i only like the horse, screw the fancy shit the people are doing =^.^=

  • what song is this

  • amazing. i wish i could vault. : /

  • Im sorry "Lotted" but that 'jog' as you call it is a collected trot, its better for the horses ligaments if they keep their heads down

  • @1002Lollipop I think Lotted was referring to the vaulters, not the horse. Thus the use of "they." But I could be wrong.

  • the way they jog is so annoying

  • Are you sure that this was B team? I'm pretty positive this was A team.

  • Are you sure that this was B team?

  • I was at this arena on Sunday!!!

  • i did a project on vaulting last year for school... it's really amazing what these people and the horses can do! ;)

  • that almost looks like a 4beat canter. weird

  • @iheartsrangerpony it most definately is. lol the judges would have deducted for that. but the deductions off of the horse score were probably insignificant compared to the points they earned for difficulty, composition and performance. :)

  • thats so cool o.o

  • I used to do Vaulting it was fun I miss doing it.

  • is there any special training involved for the horse? like, does the breeder know its gonna be a vaulting horse?

  • @simbagirl31 no, i vault on a horse named bogey whose an Arab that used to have MAJOR behavioral issues but the vaulting has actually made him a much better horse to ride as well. my instructor got him as a donation because of his attitude problems so it doesn't really matter about the breeding of the horse...just the time put into it :) hope that helped

  • @simbagirl31 it did, thanks :)

  • @simbagirl31 I'm sure they are bred for their conformation, size and temperament. You would want a big, strong, and calm horse for a sport like this.

  • I wanna do that

  • my horse flips out when i mount her ! ..... this horse is amazing ! lol

  • i wish i could do that lolz i'ld probably die hahha i'm such a cluts lolz

  • At 3:39 horse breaks stride...THAT must have been disconcerting ...but the vaulters handled it well

  • I want to try this sport. I think that it looks fun!

but before that I have to get horse back riding down pack.

  • This is INSANE omg... sooo amazing!!!

  • My favourite sport because it combines the two sports that i have spend 12 years doing :) I'm 15...

  • that is SO cool! I have never tried vaulting but now I really want to try!

  • Love the idea of vaulting :)

I would love to have a go

  • I do vaulting and if you dont stay tight..you wiill geyt bucked off...dont bad mouth them..

  • O.O DANG that was GREAT I was like O.O the whole time haha! great performance

  • Those horses are bred to haul around massive loads of produce, carriages, barrels of beer etc. He/she probably barely notices the vaulters are there.

  • abd the people prob only way like 50 at the most my friend does volting n she ways 35 kilos ... but she really short ..

  • Could i use these clips to school play? Awesome!

    Sorry, i can't speak good english : (

  • aha you can see that the other competitions are losing. One guy fell off on the other side and the other team didnt get on for like 2 min into it

  • For the people commenting on the horse,

dont worry the horse has a blanket on it that helps with the comfort, and they treat there horses so well, and the horse doesnt get tired cause this is what it is trained for.

  • Wow that's cool except wouldn't the horse get tired but anyway how does it take the weight but otherwise awesome!

  • @fauxgasms, One more thing, you can jump without beating anybody or do dressage without topping somebody else's score. Duh....

  • @fauxgasms, I'm sorry but that was hilarious.... reconnecting to nature? Take your horse out for a sundance at dawn if you want to, but all he'll do is blink. Has it ever occured to you that a lot of the time, the horse enjoys jumping, cutting cattle, ect? Guess not. Trail rides are amazing to go on, but I won't start praying to a tree for it to let me horse and I reconnect to nature lmao.

  • @fauxgasms, would you consider lunging a horse silly then? Or jumping, or barrel racing? It can only be trail riding? Wow narrow minded.... perhaps it wasn't called vaulting, but trick-riding has been around ever sice riding has. If you need to go somehwere fast, and you're only method of transportation is horseback, then duh you will ride, not do flips or something. Still, I don't see why you call vaulting silly.

  • @fauxgasms, Not graceful? You know, why don;t you just try cantering bareback, and then turn backwards on the horse? Bet you'd fall. Of course it isn't going to look as easy as sleeping, but they are VERY graceful about it. See how high they jump on the horse, the splits they make, how they turn around, ect? And vaulting isn't any sillier than riding.

  • Wow what A SPORT!

  • That horse is probably thinking " I better be getting a whole bunch of oats and carrots after this.....crazy humans jumping moving all over my back.....wht the heck are they trying to accomplish up there?!!! LOL. And I thought regular gymnastics was hard...

  • Oh my god. that horse must be very strong XD

  • good job FACE, another great routine. beautiful horse by the way

  • gorgeous horse! talented people! :D

  • These people are obviously very skilled, but what is even more impressive is that the horse can keep such a straight face.

  • Well that gorse is basicly bullet proof. :) Any horses i know, if they had someone running beside them on a lung line... then jumping on them and standing up ... ;) ohh boy that would not tour out well.

  • An abused or neglected horse wouldn't be able to do this kind of work, frankly.

Amazing work. I thought I was so cool that I can jump on bareback, but I'd probably end up with a broken neck trying it at a canter. XD

  • AMAZING I love this! I tried some vaulting and it is not easy!

  • Amazing..... JUST AMAZING....... :D

  • VAULTING IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im in the Wee County Vaulters

  • Cool!

  • this is amazing thers no way i would be able to stand on a cantering horse ( sittings jus finex) they did really well

  • Funny I have 3 little gymnasts taking lessons right now ;).

  • The horses used, or specially trained and are used to this sort of riding.. also they get VERY well looked after, & this is amazing & very talented :)

  • i do vaulting and my team as im sure every team do alwys check we are doing things corecly so we dont hurt the horse before we go on

  • Ok they are skilled and I don't think it's particularly cruel but they just look so bloody silly with that daft prancey run! They don't need the horse they could do the same stuff on a motor bike, gymnastics belong on the floor!

  • Beautiful. Abuse? Hardly.

  • wow this is so beautiful i ride and wish i could do this on my horse!! it is inspiring and makes me want to get out there and try it! beautiful ride.... magnificent!

  • I agree with the people who say this is animal cruelty. Only larger, stronger horses, like warmbloods or drafts, are used for vaulting with multiple people. And we couldn't take our horse to the county fair without going through vetcheck, and we only did showmanship and three other riding classes, so I can imagine the vet inspection they do for vaulting competitions is even more extensive. I think this is an amazing sport, and I applaud this group's skill and hard work :)

  • @horseyjill28 Just so you know, that was a warmblood

  • @ponygirlvvv I meant to say "I DISAGREE with the people who call this animal cruelty." Haha thanks ;)

  • This is fantastic!

  • Your Horse ist very fast our horse Ramazotti is not so fast with 3 peoples on his back :D

  • thats just rude what they do to these horses i mean all that weight on a horse even though they are really light its mean i dont care who you are and what you say its horse cruelelty

  • @GeckoEcho1 I really wish you would do some research before you comment. This sport is highly regarded as the best way to learn how to ride and first and foremost as vaulters we are HORSE PEOPLE meaning the horse is the FIRST priority. the horse is examined by a respected vet before being allowed to even enter competition, and then the judge before each round. If the horse is laboring the judge will ask the team to leave. We would NEVER do anything to endanger our horses. They honestly love this

  • @GeckoEcho1 Do you know how incredibly stupid you are? Lets put you on the back of a horse and say "oh poor horse hes gonna get sway back." If you actually did what Vaultingdiva suggested and did some research on the subject before commenting you'd know that the horses they use are meant for this or even close, just like there are horses that are meant for pulling thousands of pounds behind them. Do your research and shut up.

  • how many tragic falls must have been endured.. respect<3

  • these 3 people have maybe a weight of 150 kilos ;)

most Woman or man rode on horses an their wait is exactly the same ;)

sorry if anything is wrong I´m from Germany...:D

  • the only things i have done vaulting is side ways upside down and back wards... oh shizz..

  • Wow, this sport sure is crazy. I guess gymnasts got bored of the gym horse thing? Either way, amazing stuff.

  • INSANE talent, and such a beautiful horse.

  • OMG it is so cool :)

  • While I enjoy vaulting and do not believe it is abusive towards the horse, I think it is a far fetch claim that horses "enjoy" it as much as humans do. Most horses tolerate us in the saddle but I would not say they love it. JMO

  • holy shizzel!!! this is soo cool <3 i hope i can get that good. ive only been in lessons for 1 year but wow !!

  • holy poop! i cant even stand on a horse while its standing still!?

  • Wow! Amazing! I have never really watched vaulting till just now. I always knew what it was but never took the time to watch it! Great horse and great performers! :]

  • u dont hav 2 canter

  • I would love to try this!

  • That horse has good conformation. And the horse does not get tired, didnt you notice how big it is,most likely a draft or part draft horse. They wouldn't use a horse who couldn't take the weight. And the horse is treated very well back at the stables. So stop bad mouthing them! The horse is fine or else it would most likely buck them off!And thats AMAZING!! I just feel sry for the guy,he gets girls butts in his face...

  • @SophiaThePumpkinKing the horse are usuall drafts or warmbloods and guys that do it are awesome but most think its to girly

  • @SophiaThePumpkinKing Of Course It Is A Draft Horse, That Is What They Almost Always Use In Vaulting

  • @TheJumper64 Actually draft horses get the worst scores out of all the horses the horses that get really good scores are all warm bloods

  • @TheJumper64 Actually draft horses get really bad scores in the canter competitions the ones that get really good scores are all the big and beautiful warm bloods ones that look like highly trained dressge horses

  • @TheJumper64 no it isnt its actually always a warmblood that looks like a top class dressage horse. just look at the conformation and ull clearly c that.

  • @iheartsrangerpony i didnt say nothin bout conformation asshole. i said it looks like a 4 beat canter. if u could read u would know that.

  • @iheartsrangerpony i thought it looked like 4 beats too. i read that in the 90's some western riders were trying to get their horses to lope so slowly that the horses actually did something called "tropping" were their front half is trotting and the back half is loping. its not allowed in western classes now and it looks like thats what this horse was doing. it doesnt really matter cause this isnt a western class. its still interesting/odd to see.

  • @SophiaThePumpkinKing he probably likes all of those asses in his face

  • @xLovexIsxRebornx thats halarious

  • @SophiaThePumpkinKing im sure he dosnt mind THAT much ;P

  • If I were the horse, I would like to die instead of carry all those people on my back.

  • @2769350 i have been riding since i was two and i've learnt that if a horse doesn't want to do something...it won't. That horse has the capability to dump every one of them.

  • @2769350 that horse is perfectly capable of that wait and ur NOT a horse

    xxx:P

  • @Ollieexxx *weight

  • Wow, that was truly amazing. I am just learning how to do vaulting on my horse, and this is so inspiring. They were incredibl

  • These horses are trained to be vaulted on and they enjoy it as much as the vaulters do. they are loved and treated better than most horses. You shouldnt say anything negative about a sport you know nothing about.

  • this is amazing

  • its beautiful and cool and all that- I jsut fell sorry for the horse having to go in circels one way getting dissy- couldnt they at least change direction- horses have feelings too!

  • @4FabBEATLES horses don't get dizzy like humans do....and its like a 35 meter circle it wont get dizzy but i see what you mean

  • SUCH A GOOD HORSE!!! SUCH BEAUTIFUL WORK FROM THE PERFORMERS!! WHAT A WONDERFUL TREAT TO SEE!! Congrats on your hard work!!

  • great!!! I love vaulting its so much fun but poor horsey started trotting...

  • Wow they must be really good riders when there not vaulting

  • holy hell my mare would buck me off is a second!!

  • wow they are good but i could never do that id falloff as soon as i got on.....lol

  • Wow! That's so beautiful... Why haven't I ever seen this sport in action before? lolz

  • Beautiful, nothing else can be said.

  • this is weird

  • omg wow! what a good horse! imagine if it spooked :O lol

  • poor horse.

  • I do this its so much harder but when u get used to it its so much eastier! x

  • very good :)

but i think they got pontential for more difficult things :)

  • Wow... good work. Keep it up.

  • this stuff is so cool. all i can do is sit weird and occassionally stand (holding in screams of terror) i like my butt flat on the horses back personally lol

  • what is this music?

  • amazing...i love vaulting...its my favorite :)

  • Keep your nasty comments to yourself.

  • @JulioAlyForever64

the standard size for a larger horse should be a 15m circle.

  • just cos you cant do it. :P

  • how do you know I cant....I cant believe all you people dont have anything better to do then constantly comment on my opinion...this is USA I have the right to my opinion just as you do but leave me alone already geez!!

  • @JulioAlyForever64 okay well its pretty clear now that you definitely cant and im only commenting. not saying you're wrong.

  • that circle really isnt hat small for the horse to canter, im sure the horse is trained for this and so are the riders,

  • yea well id like to c U do tht. its a cool sport and people like you shud rlly lay off. the horse is strong enough and trained

  • Wouldn't you think gymnastics would be harder on a moving horse? And the people who do this are trained to shift their weight as lightly as they can on the horse. Maybe you should try it sometime, then you'll realize how much hard work it takes.

  • Wonderful! I did team Vaulting like that for almost 5 years. It was an amazing experience to have the trust in each other like you have to.

This was just WONDERFUL! Well done! It's too bad they don't recognize it for the Olympics yet. Your team would be a fierce competitor!

    Laura.

  • hamina hamina hamina ha! THAT WAS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!! Im taking vaulting lessons in march, i am SO EXCITED!

  • helmets effect there view, and it can get in the way.

  • lol its looks well gay at the begining and at the end when they run xD

    but lol pretty amazin!

  • i would never do this! not in this life time!

  • the horse is like What The Fuck....

naw i only kid but nice vid

  • Beautiful, but would it kill vaulters to wear helmets?

  • Yes, it highly increases the chances of a serious injury.

  • whoever thought this was a good idea was friggen insane, I'm sorry >_>

  • waaaw u have to have soo much trust in the other people and the horse :D

  • that horse is a good boy :)

  • pshhhh... i can do that.... lol JUST KIDDING!!!! u guys are awesome! thats so ahhhhmazin!

  • That looks like so much fun! Beautiful

  • Beautiful :)

  • That's a beautiful horse. When I was young I trained my horse to stop and stay with me if I ever became unseated. My then cocky, pubescent older brother decided to try a cowboy horse trick he had seen... while riding my horse. So, off he goes across a pasture at a canter, and he vaults from the saddle thinking he would hit the ground and vault back on.

    Horse stopped.

    Brother didn't.

Makes me laugh 30 yrs later.

  • Hahahahahahahhahaha

  • @marianware hahaha! LOL made me smile!! :DD

  • i would totally break my neck!

  • woah! i never even new they did something like this! lol

  • You guys are SOOO awesome at vaulting!!! Love the team freestyle!

  • omg.. the guy is actually good looking!!!.. that actually exists in this industry?!?!?!?!?!

  • Haha! Aw Nancy! Thanks for the awesome intros as usual! I don't recognize the horse...I think this was my first nationals... nope it was my third... hrum. lol. Anyway, they really brought this up to par for WEG!

  • Marshal is the horse. He is retired now.

  • thats is absolutly incredible

  • wow u gotta be totally strong to do this type of stuff

  • wow this is beautiful, i really really want to start vaulting, since I am in love with riding, but there are no vaulting stables near here :(

  • hehe my riding trainer's name is julie :) and she is a mom, but not mine
