  • Was this on channel #2? I've found it pretty unusable with humbuckers, but strats sound great throught it. Nice playing, mate!

  • both green and red lights on the amp where on. thank you ;)

  • Dude that was awesome!

  • thank you ;)

  • Only tiny criticism I have is that your vibrato seems a bit heavy at times, mainly in the first few bars of the song.

But still, you surpass me by a huge amount. And this has all the feeling you could really look for from a cover, and tone to boot :)

  • critisim is good ;) I dont use any vibrato effect, so I have a feeling that it's the recording of the sound that fools you and makes the tones vibrate esp in the beginning, you should check out the video responce I posted on this song. Thanks for commenting, appriciate good and bad ;)

  • What channel are you using here? channel 2 or channel one with the volume high up?

I have the amp too. it owns.

    5/5 btw.

  • crunch first you know the green led then both green and red at the end, after that I just dampen the volume on the guitar. I'm actually not playing loud her..

  • this video still kicks ass ;D

    5/5

  • hehe.. thanks again :D

  • haha cheers for so many quick replies! the reason i keep coming back to your video is most (if not all) other screamer videos just have gain cranked with mids rolled off (metal bs). recon it can play the blues as good with a humbucking guitar? 1:09 to 1:12 is pure Stevie Ray have u heard the version on his box set? absolute killer

  • good thing about the screamer is you can actually play anything on it, I think Engl has been unluckily stamped as a heavy amp, when it has the potential for so much more.

I think my version is more based on the Mariüs Müller version, a Norwegian guitarist who died in a car crash some years ago. the SRV version is good to, I have almost everything that he's recorded ;)

  • why u say "metal bs" ?? Engls are known as heavy amps so what do you expect?? and the mids arent always rolled off.

  • so expensive tho... double the price of a peavey classic and 800 more than a vox ac30. i live in oz and our amps are way overpriced. need a new amp and $2300 seems out of my range is it really worth it?

  • Tell you the truth I was actually getting a new tv, but I tested this amp at a local shop here, sounded sweet with the guitar I used there so I went home and got my own strat, 10 minutes of playing and I just had to get it. it even sounds sweet with eq settings flat. I know it is expensive, but for me I've finally found my amp :)

  • great playing and tone, point the camera at your fingers next time.

  • friggen hot strat tone. thinking of gettin this amp... now thinking i need to get a strat to go with it! :P

  • This amp is insane, it has everything I've ever wanted from a tube amp, sweet part is the more volume you push out of it the better it sounds, everyone needs a strat.. hehe =)

  • man , this is just awesome , i mean , really, i love it. sounds so , argh , i cant even describe it. the way u play it tranquilizes me, but not in a bad way , its great dude , keep up the good work

  • thanks mate, appreciate it =D

  • thank you =)

  • you don't suck. you are so good :)

  • var vel ikke så dårlig som du mener dette da Kim?...

  • Nei, men var så mye som kunne vært bedre. Jeg er jo perfektsjonist vettu, det blir aldri bra nok.

  • hehe

  • sweet!

  • rocking! rhythm! keep'em coming! that was cool! =D

  • you should give yourself more credit then you do :-D

  • maybe I should. thanks for the nice comment :)
