They grow faster when exposed to sunlight. I believe they start from dust (abnormal particles) on the eye. I had 2 removed and I can tell you, they were the most painfull, emotional experiences of my life. Nurse told me I was very brave as she said 90% of patients don't come back for the second eye. By the time I hit the chemist awaiting pain killers, I was in tears.Don't know if things have changed but for my surgery,Doc burnt the ends of veins removed to stop bleeding.

La membrana amniotica es mu cara, yo radico en Chiapas donde el ingreso per capita es de 8 pesos mexicanos diarios. Me imagino que algo similar sucede en Peru.

please help me..i have pterygium for almost 8 years until now.. ive been operated twice but it keeps coming back..im very awkward,it makes me uncomfortabale coz it makes my eye red..i have medicine here (eye drop) to make my eye look lesser red but after 3,4 or 5 hrs it will go back to red.im very shy to make eye to eye contact..please somebody advice me or help me...thanks a lot

@brent23ism You also should eat better, its amazing how much food impacts our health, for bad or good. And avoid many cosmetic products, sleep well etc. as a general more natural suggestion.
