@nuncjusz1 His forehand is one of the top 5 in the world. The others being Federer, Gonzalez, Soderling and Del Potro in my opinion. Soderling's is probably the most powerful, but not as much variety. Same thing with Blake, he takes the ball earlier than most and usually hits it flat, but misses a lot. Gonzo combines power and consistency. Del Po has the most reach on his forehand shots. But I think Federer has the perfect all-around technique on his forehand (power, variety, consistency, etc).

It looks like a semi-western grip, but the videos I've seen aren't very clear.

He isn't intentionally jumping. He stores energy by twisting the body and bending the legs and then unleashes it, propelling the racket forwards and upwards. This lifts him off the ground as a side effect.
