@DONTHIDEBEHINDDUTUBE -dont use any beeswax. EVER. Just wash your hair with clear shampoo once or twice a week (but still wash your hair with hot water daily) and keep twisting them. In six month you should have a bunch of solid locs.

real talk on that spray you used. than caught yo self to edit that info in. cuz i realized that when i go out side it dries up faster. and i stay in HOUSTON so u know itz nothing but heat down here. my har thick as hell too .. and im just startin my locs. im like a month and a half in. but i waited a year to start mine.

my dude..your hair got some length. but peep this: your hair WILL grow faster if they just go natural. use pure aloe vera when you wash them every so often. far as i know, i only used olive oil when i had an afro years ago..but man your hair isnt reaching its full potential when you do this. trust me..

I love using extra virgin olive oil, with a little warm water, massage it in and go. You want to avoid using any products that contain things that are hard to wash out. Be careful of products building up in the hair. great video

@zayloc23 yeah i agree with you we africans and half casts we don't really need to twist much because we have naturally curly hair, even mine too i don't twist i just leave it to grow out and rub it with a cotton hat from time to time i also ruff it up with gel to prevent it from drying out and its locking up quite well, all these regular twisting it's just a waste of money really.

@TerrierEyes91 you even gota pay someone 2 twist your hair for you. i did that but it was a waste of money you can just do it yourself. retwist it with some jel and clip it down and go under the dryer and you can moisturize whenever you feel like it (i use nature shine). That should get yo hair to lock up pretty fast but it takes real pacience (i'm at my 1 year). dont give up goodluck bro hope i helped

NO one really should go by what products to use or what products not to use, because everbody has different types and grades of hair so my advice would be to use just about everything out there until you feel comfy with the product that gives you the best results(when ur feeling yourself).
