Classic Zeke! I loved this deal because Thomas knew Marbury was selfish and he knew Steph would phets it up. Remember, Isiah messed up this team on purpose because he hated the Knicks. It's just the truth and I'm glad Zeke did what he did.
This trade was supposed to be "the trade" to bring this all together... all it brought was 5 years of disappointment to a disenchanted franchise and made the Knicks the poster child for bad management... not only did this trade spark off what was to come, but it put the Knicks well over the cap for many years as well as killed the Knicks chances to ever being competitive in the second part of the 2000's.
LOL, poor Isiah, great player but shitty GM & coach.......he had no idea at the time the Suns raped him royally in this trade......Phoenix knew they made a huge mistake trading for Crap-bury in 2001, and they figured, while he still had some worth, trade him, but not only did they ship him, they got rid of Hardaway's contract, which freed up even more cap room for the Suns to sign Nash and Q-Rich later that summer.....
