the only real good way to sink her is to divide her AA fire: have dive bombers attack at exactly the same time as torpedo bombers and maybe throw in 1 or 2 submarines, i guarentee we wooda used less planes in that scene

According 2 wikipedia the yamato was incapable of firing her main guns and AA guns at the same time.

This would have been a major disadvantage in her final battle, and is why she didnt really make much of an impact during the pacific war.

Moomoo - the difference is actually quite obvious. Musashi was a larger ship, but had considerably fewer weapons when she was sank. Even if Spawn was not a military naval enthusiast, the circumstances surrounding the sinking of both ships was considerably different - the events portrayed in the video indicate the ship should be the Yamato, not the Musashi.

That, and the game only has one Yamato mesh and that is designed for the Yamato herself. :P

The Mushashi capsized to port and then sank, the Yamato capsized, blew up and sank. Not exactly what is depicted in this video. The reason behind this capsize similarity is that US planes were advised to attack from one side in both instances so as to maximise hits. I appreciate the video as i just like it, but i don't want to get into a stupid argument about two ships whose differences were very little. Both being 863ft long and 128ft wide. Yamato was also heavier by a small margin.

Not exactly, Japan started capturing territories in the Pacific before Germany was even under the Nazi rule. They beat Russia in a war, captured Manchuria, and spread throughout the Pacific taking the Philippines, Manila, Guam, and most of Indonesia. Germary granted did take control of most of Europe but if your talking size and time Japan had control over a much larger area for a much longer time.
