Wow, you're amazing dude. Definitely got the chops thing down. Lots of notes. Some insane independence too. You should get out to LA or New York and try your hand at playing with major acts.
IT was amazing....I would have loved to hear it a bit slower tho...i bet he has amazing groove...I think it would have been better a little slower...but my opinion. He is absolutely great
hey RC..cool drumming man.theres a few things in there that i would like to ad to mine.your independence is off the charts.stay with it .hey thanks!!!
RCRhythm first off I would like to say wicked solo. I cannot beleive that you only made it to store finals, that ridiculous. Very few people can pull off the left foot clave as accurately as you do. So this leads me to my next question. How did you legally set up that cowbell at the left side on the floor. Is there a limit to how many pedals you can bring? Did you bring the cowbell mount for the floor or did GC have it there for you?
hey you were that guy that showed us the snare solo on drumlines.org i believe...or was it remo. i remember the stick down snare buzz thing...awesome stuff. way to incorporate corps chops into set playing.i wish i could play like you someday
dude ryan youre an amazing drummer...that ghost note beat w the ride was fuckin sick! i was in the gc drum off out here in cali...took 1st on the 1st round but then got robbed in the second round but o well im doin it again this year...everyone on here trys 2 give me tips but really dont know what theyre talkin bout...any pointers?
Thanks for the compliments. The cowbell on the floor was definitely too big and resonant to be used as a foot cowbell, but contestants are only allowed to use the equipment that GC provides, so I went with it.
That cowbell is SO horrid lol. I don't know if it's the acoustics in the room or the fact that I don't like how it sounds, but that cowbell sounds horrid to me lol.
I loved your playing, nice even single strokes and some funky fills. I love the funk and latin grooves within the soloing. The influences are killer too. Dennis Chambers is the man. Sounded like you threw in some level 3 stuff there too, I loved it.
Like how you went into the Rosanna shuffle @ 1:50

I know you can bring your own bass drum pedal, but I don't know about the auxiliary pedal.

Lol.. He shouldn't be playing in that tiny-looking room. He should be playing at a ginormous staduim! Infront of thousands. I'd buy a ticket.
