It is common knowledge that family courts are biased. The best way out of all this hell is real 50-50 parenting, then NO child support payments are needed because each paretn is looking after the kid 50% of the time. If a spiteful ex blocks access then she only suffers and loses out financially.
Great video. I'm elated to see Men's rights issues being spotlighted in the main stream media without all the pathetic feminist pathologizing. I hope a million estranged fathers see this & make their way over to A Voice For Men & other Men's Rights Movement websites & help us fight the good fight.
Deadbeat mothers are also the ones living off of child support with their new boyfriends meanwhile minimizing the fathers access so they can maintain their lucrative child support payments. It's not actually child support, but spousal support because it is based on equalizing incomes but in reality it neglects many costs of the father, who is left broke and unable to build a life. I don't know why I worked hard at school and got a good job. I can't wait to leave this god-forsaken country!
Too much apologizing for the police without any solid experience. There a few senior officers with enough intelligence to know the difference, but most young cops are always ready to save a damsel in distress and pick a fight with the divorced father. Abused by the wife, abused by the cops and abused by the legal system. It's not just feminists but also traditionalists. That’s why is say screw it to left-right politics and Canada SUCKS!
Wow, I’m impressed. Based on some correspondence a few years ago, I had though Michael Coren was in complete denial about the reality of family law. As Ross Virgin said, many consider divorced dads to be at fault.
Michael Coren is open minded, and so he does change his mind about things.
He also once assumed that Erin Pizzey must have been just like all of those other anti-family, anti-male, radical feminists who kicked her out of her own movement, demonized her, threatened her, and drove her into exile, but ill bet that he has changed his mind on that one.
@St37One, He's far too influenced by PC White Knighting and deference to women.
He wrote about DV and Erin Pizzey, so he's definitely changed his mind on that one. However, he's still stuck in the "men are stronger" mode of thinking.
I consider the "but men are stronger" argument to be a softball question.
It's an opportunity.
What is needed is a good response, a good solid counter argument, which is to be expected since it is an argument that the MRA has heard dozens of times before.
The point is to have an open discussion and debate, and to allow the truth to surface. What did you think the point was?
Michael Coren's point (motivation) is to attack feminism but also be a supporter of traditional gender roles which supports traditional feminine privilege. As far as an open discussion, my own experience and observations of Coren is when he hears something he disagrees with and can't counter, he arrogantly follows PC mantra without thinking.
I have noticed that he often tries to raise common objections and ideas that he anticipates his audience will come up with so that they can be adressed/resolved on the show.
He is definately promoting the traditional family, but not any particular gender "roles" other than the "roles" of mother and father.
I was actually refering to his article about Erin Pizzey as my example of how he had been wrong in the past.
Michael Coren had implied/assumed that Erin Pizzey had had a change of heart, and a conversion from radical manhating feminist to whistleblower. But according to Erin Pizzey, she never did see domestic violence as a gender issue, and her refuge movement was quickly hijacked by communist women who saw how this could help thier agenda, while she fought them every step of the way. Perhaps fighting against Erin Pizzey actually made them even more commited and extreme.
People dont seem to make the connection between feminism and family court, and they also dont seem to know how powerful the family court actually is, and how much jurisdiction they have actually managed to usurp from the criminal courts. The function of family court is to serve as a mechanism to empower the most grandiose, delusional, and man-hating sort of radical feminists by giving them the power of criminal prosecution, judge, jury, and executioner, and to circumvent the magna carta.
I remember being told that I have "issues with women",because I said the family court was bias in favour of mother's. The feminazi father assassin's decided that that was enough to give my children sole custody to the violent mother. men claiming to be abused by a woman are considered abusive
