There's many a true word spoken in jest (as they say)! But Fred was absolutely spot on. It all seems very unfair. He might still be with us today were it not for 'Petticoat Rule'(to quote an old phrase).

His values may seem old fashioned to some people - but here was a man with real engineering skills. Those skills form the basis upon which all modern technology was founded.

Just look at the situation we find ourselves in today - in a Society driven by finance.
