I was in a Mail Art group and one of us got one of the Journals: #707.
When one would finish with their "entry", it would be mailed to the next person. I got the Journal shortly after I moved from California to Nevada.
The entries were beautiful and inspiring and thought-provoking.
I knew there was a website, but I had no idea there was to be a documentary.
I will try to find the documentary on Netflix.

In the film, a few frames past this moment, when the doors fully close, you can ever so briefly see me pointing the camera... We had to smuggle the gear into the train station. Oh, happy memories!

Just watched the screener at the 51st SF intl' Film Fest ... glad to say that I have the book, the movie, and that I never gave up me dream of being "artsy fartsy". Good show!
