In previous versions they would just cancel, but the latest version added the feature where it actually destroys EVERY gem onscreen.

Hey dude, awesome work! I've seen a whole lot of hacks that modify game state but few bots, respect to you! I've just finished my first bot and got 280,000 (screenshot method) I've yet to fully implement the multiplier logic and the poor thing gets confused identifying the jewels sometimes but it's coming along :) Any tips you could give a noob AI coder? Thanks for the inspiration and good luck improving it! Maybe we could have a faceoff someday? ;-)

Just tried several variations of increases of score (5k more than posted Score--then 2k more than 10k more) and still doesn't save.

You're right, but I can't get my score to save even without the cheat. They either started blocking cheaters off the high scores, or it's a temporary issue that affects everyone, not just cheaters.

Got it working great.....BUT noticed when getting a relatively modest score of 200K and publishing it on my wall in Facebook and then close Firefox, then return to the game inside Facebook the recent high score is gone and back to my saved 76K w/out the cheat. In other wordsw the cheat is working but not saving once browser is closed.....any suggestions?

They may have added some heuristic cheated-score detection. Try "working up" your score, like with increments of 10k.

No, it is not correct. You missed the part about "GreaseMonkey". You do not need the bot if you just want a lot of points. I will provide no assistance with compiling the bot.

You need to compile the bot to run it. You don't need the bot if you just want to get a lot of points.

Funny thing about this. I have been teaching high school kids for a while and I have noticed that young people who use game cheats and hacks tend to have serious problems in college. Obviously, that is not always the case but it shows a desire to be better than your peers without having to put in the work. When they are put in a competitive arena where shortcuts are illegal, they either go to the "dark side" or learn to accept that they are not quite as special as they thought they were.

I agree, cheating in a game to achieve a certain goal (beating the game, etc.) is pretty much missing the point. I find writing game bots an interesting programming challenge (the chase, not the catch).. it's easy to get lots of points by other means anyway.

Yes, I did. I was interested to see what would happen when you match three hypers (this was before I made the cheat UserScript). I still think this video is more spectacular to watch.

What do you mean by "Bejeweled 2 Deluxe in facebook"? The bot is made specifically for Bejeweled Blitz, not any other game (although it can be adapted to other Bejeweled versions with some effort).

I use Flash version 10.

The first version is activated like 1.5, hold down the middle mouse button.

I don't know why it's not working for you. I use a 32-bit color depth.

Why do you want to run the bot anyway? If you just want to get lots of points, use the UserScript with Firefox+GreaseMonkey or Opera.

1. Yes.

2. You can't use UserScripts in Internet Explorer, so no. You can use the first version of the bot in IE.

3. If you have a different color depth or another Flash version, this may happen. You will need to adjust the script yourself.

4. If you compiled it successfully without modifications, it should work.

How does scoring work with a hypercube move and speed bonus? Do you get speed bonus for each jewel or just one speed bonus for the same color jewel?

A hypercube match has a constant base score (not counting speed bonus), plus a score for every gem it removes from the screen. The speed bonus is given (and increased) for the first match of a sequence, color makes no difference.

Can you calculate the score for me if speed bonus is +1000, multiplier is x2, and there are only four green gems and the hypercube swaps with one green gem?

Is ( score == base x 2 + speed bonus x 2 + 3 x 200 x 2 ) right?

To be honest, researching the exact scoring system was on the to-do list for version 2.0 of my bot. But yes, that's what it should be according to my limited research.

Yep! Just tested it. They didn't seem to change the actual game much (if at all), just the scoreboard area.

Um, the userbar shouldn't work at all on my test page. The test page has some stuff hard-coded into it (the button UNDER the game, and the bot comm in the very top-right corner of the window). What browser version are you using?

It works for me, same Fx version... Could you try getting the console2 extension and copying all JavaScript messages from the Bejeweled page to a pastebin (e.g. privatepaste)?

Remember that reaching the mark on the point bar doesn't get you the prize, but simply allows you to participate in a drawing. You can also participate by having 20 friends that can get 50k points, and each one of them will also be eligible, assuming they're all mutually friends as well.

OK, new problem. I Ran the .exe file that was created. I bring it up next to the game window so it can analyze the pixels. It gives me a whole nuch of Continuity errors. When i double click the middle mouse button it moves, but then I have to keep bringing the window back to the front of the screen and double clicking the middle mouse button again...How do i get it pwning lke yours?

Forms is part of VCL, which is distributed with Delphi. You can do without it, but you'll have to replace uses of the Screen object with GetSystemMetrics calls.

Hi, I was trying to test this, I compiled a couple different versions, and they ran and I could see the colors / locations popping up, but the mouse events where not working. Is there something I am missing, any tips?

Are you sure that's what's happening? You need to activate the bot by pressing the middle mouse button.
