  • I saw him play LIVE twice. Great musician.

  • Havent heard this for years. Thanks for posting it

  • grew up listening to DF My family loves him. Thanks for the great music Don

  • I still have the traveler album on LP,but most of his earlier releases are out of print now and hard to find on compact disk.

  • I like this song! Thanks for sharing!

  • good song

  • I love this song!Thanks Don Francisco!

  • i would really like to hear the song "love is not a feeling, its an act of your will..." i'm not sure of its exact title, but Don Francisco did it... i would love to hear it again. one of the lines in it was how Jesus didn't die for us because it was FUN it was an act of His will. Don's music is really annointed. anyway if anyone has any copies of that song please post it.

  • i had a don francisco tape long ago,

this brought back many wonderful memories thanks

  • There is a depth in this music that surpasses much of the projected on the wall 7 - 11 (7 chorus' sung 11 times each) music you hear in so many churches today. They are stories directly from the Word of God but with a twist - from the unique perspective of one of the participants, in this case - one who walked with the Resurrected Christ.

  • WOW

  • Delora and Roger played this at the coffee house ,great memories, miss them .

  • It seems like the rest of the world would benefit from hearing Don Francisco music. But lets face it. Christian rock has turned into a completely different animal now. This is some of the only Christian music I can get into. No offense to other artists. But this stuff is moving.

  • do u like hill songs? or newsboys?

  • Nope not really... These songs are the only ones that draw me in... The rest just seem to be some sort of brainwashing because they rely on repeating the same thing over again said 20 different ways.

  • yer I like him too. he sings like he is there in Jesus days. Any way praise God, Take care.

  • I digress.. I don't want to take nothing away from these other groups that are out there making an honest effort towards making quality Christian music.. I can imagine that their motives are genuine and pure.. But i often find the attempts at it rather heavy handed and sometimes even obnoxious, Heavily Marketed and targeted for a certain audience...

The thing about Don Francisco is...

  • In my opinion, is, it is without ostentation.. Its a very humble attempt at telling a story or sharing their faith.. While I do not know what he is like in his personal life I would like to imagine it is without pomp or pretentiousness.. But who knows.. He may very well think he is the cat's meow.. As many Christians often flaunt.. But to me his music seems to sidestep that more by his reliance both on scripture and on the heart of the message..

  • His music is not about bragging or over zealous pride but rather on the struggle of being human, the verities of the heart, and the peace found with Christ Jesus.

A good sing along for the kids? Not always, Its kind of like saying The Passion is a good film for 8 year old kids..

It is more like "Jesus of Nazareth" told in acoustic sound around a campfire.. Its a moving experience for me to listen through his albums..

  • There are others that either follow are commit to that humility in their music as well that I have seen.. Probably many more that I have never heard. Hear are some others I like..

Dallas Home and praise, Janny, John Michael Talbot, Father Landry, Dion Dimucci..

These are more of a contemplative look at Christianity...

  • But unless we forget...

"There's a choir up in heaven singing country gospel songs, and their singing to the master a grand o'l opre all day long, and it never fails to warm my heart no matter where I go, knowing that God loves country music, cause an angel told me so"

  • hey there I've been a DF fan for years. He is a gifted dude no doubt. A little off I believe on there doctrine of baptism, and God head but yeah he's made a decent living doing what he believes...

  • Your right about his error concerning the Godhead, but most of the Christian world is wrong about that. Look at how many "Christians" worship the great whore of Rev. 17 (Vatican City).

  • Glad to hear some Don Fransico, love to hear more.

  • Great clip, Thank you for posting it. I hope to see more of Don's music on You Tube.

  • Don Francisco singing one of his classics :-) Thanks for posting the video.

  • this is so wonderfiul

  • Excellent...Thank you!
