  • Patton in this video looks like Henry Rollins

  • @TheDicklessCunt that's an italian song called "nel blu dipinto di blu", so he's speaking italian (at the end he also says "Dio mio" = "my God")

  • @1989Freiheit Dios Mio is Spanish, I believe.

  • @metatronsfury read my reply to @mildlyderanged ;) where i explained everything

  • @1989Freiheit

Actually its a song by the Gypsy Kings, who are French but sing in Spanish :-)

  • @mildlyderanged Actually the original song was written by Domenico Modugno in 1958 and it's called NEL BLU DIPINTO DI BLU (Modugno was an italian songwriter). Gypsy Kings were formed in 1987 :)

  • @1989Freiheit ... Absolutely!!! ... Volare

  • @ColdmaN5 lmfao

  • Lmfao

  • jajaja, que genio este Patton. Que bueno este video.

  • is he having a seizure?

  • Wow.. I don't really mind Faith No More, they're a good 90's band.. but that hurt to listen to. I thought it would be pretty good, I love The Craberries and was expecting this to be a bit more....not shit - lol

  • @Mbare1991 Mike goofs off on purpose. Always has, always will. he realizes music is meant to be fun first. I mean, do we really think that they couldn't destroy that song if they wanted to? Mikes a living, breathing cartoon character of a modern Beethoven on speedballs.

  • He does sound a bit like Bruce Dickinson here though....not the best performance from Patton- he's got a shit load of amazin material under his crown.

  • que grande mike

  • I love it. Wish it was longer.

  • and their balls and their balls, ZAM BAIS OH OH YES YEA YEA OH DEAR LORD YEA !!!

    uh.... fail

  • oohhh ddiiooossss mmiiioooo !!!! jajajajajaja

  • sorry i meant to say he is not a cult legend for nothing... no one sounds like him

  • dont you think live covers of songs should be held to a difrent standard itsa live and a cover.... its a performance so if it was prefect i think it would lose something..... think about the year the stage that F.N.M was at in thier career think about it they were a rock band covering Zombie..... pretty diffrent than anything else other bands they were grouped with were doing.... and its Mike Patton its his vocie..... its amazing he is nt a cult legend for nothing

  • CAMARON!!

  • what does he mean by volare ?

  • @rawfflecakes " I'll fly "

    cantaré! ==> I'll sing

  • I've never been a youtube hater before but that's really terrible.

  • first time ive ever heard someone say mike patton ruined something

  • Why did you write that comment as if you were actually talking to Patton?

  • you wreck a grate senince that ares spellt rongg!!@!@##

  • No, you just have bad taste.

  • @recfc1886 you idiot

  • Patton = God

  • Hmm. If I'm being honest, I very much prefer the Cranberries version. But each to their own - well done to the band for thinking of making a cover!

  • @BookMusicFan FNM have done many covers, easy and I started a joke are on their albums! let alone their concert covers

    great Mike! he's a genious!

  • @kokkogialloblu u aint kidding

  • What is your connection to The Intrepid Fox is what i want to know? Cos I used to work there..and I don't know you

  • When I lived in London it was my "local" in 91 and 92 back when it was on Wardour St.

  • Lol, thats when I used to work there :))

  • I was a Patton fan as soon as I heard Epic! I saw every FNM tour! More than one date! I am such a huge fan I bought Adult Themes! (Mike autographed it for me after I saw the show for Album of the Year.) When I went to see FNM for the King for a Day Fool For a Lifetime tour in Dallas I made this outfit, silver and black. I spray painted a pair of combat boots I had silver to go with my special FNM ensemble.

  • Anyway, I was moshin' and singin' and havin' a great time, then the band stopped and Mike said "This is the part of the show for audience participation! Who wants to come up here and sing with us?" So everyone's hands went up. Then Mike said, "I'm looking for a girl!" Half the hands went down. Mike said, "I'm looking for a blonde girl!" More hands went down, and I thought,

  • "He is looking at me!" But you always think they are looking at you and they aren't! So, then Mike points at me and says, "You." I was on the other side of where the pit had been, so a bit far away from the stage, so I thought it wasn't me. So Mike said again,"You." And I pointed to myself and I mouthed ME?!?

  • And Mike said "Yes, you! Get up here!" I yelled, "Get the fuck outta my way!" I ran up there! I was so mutherfuckin' excited! The crowd picked me up, and then I was on stage with my favorite band!!!! The good Lord up in heaven loves me!!!!JOY!!!So Mike asked my name I told him Heather. He introduced me to all the guys. I was trying to be funny so I shook hands forever.

  • When he got to Roddy, he was lying down on the floor. Mike said "this is Roddy and he is looking for a blowjob!" I said, " I can tell him where boystown is here in Dallas!" laughter! Then He got to Trey. I made sure and let Trey know I thought he was doing a good job! So after the introductions and massive handshaking Mike says "OK Heather, Now is the time! Can you sing?" I replied, "I wasted the money my mamma gave me for singin' lessons!"

  • Mike gave me a blank Mike-like stare. He sais "What?" I said " I wasted the money my Mamma gave me for singing lessons!" Blank stare from Mike. And so ladies and gentlemen I proceeded to explain to the most wonderful and truly gifted vocalist what the joke meant. I said you know how when you are singing and someone says what did you do with the money and you say what money and they say THE MONEY

  • YOUR MAMMA GAVE YOU FOR SINGING LESSONS!!!???Mike said "Yes, but can you sing?" I said " Yes I can fucking sing!" With that the band launched into a song, I became aware of the fact that MIKE PATTON had his arm around me! I was looking at him that close, and yes girls he is that fucking cute up close! I was looking out at all the people.

  • I learned something that night. When one is up onstage the music does not sound the same and I had no fucking idea what song was being played. Mike started singing. I was freaking out. In my head, outwardly still cool. I looked to Mike for reassurance. Mike was looking me in the eyes! Singing. I had no earthly idea what was going on but he looked sooooo cool singin' with his arm around me, then he held the microphone to my lips and by the

  • grace of God I sang what he wanted me to sing, "ZOMBIE" ( by the Cranberries) and then he did the ey ey ey! part. I did the growlie zombie part again. It was cool! So the song is over and Mike says," OK, Heather, now is your big chance, STAGE DIVE! Now, the audience was at least five feet away because of the barricade, and I had been drinking, and I always held to the belief that only waifs should stage dive. So I told Mike NO! Shook my head vehemently too! So

  • Mike offered me a myriad of strange things. I repeated whatever he offered me. The only one I remember was,He said " come on Heather will you stage dive for a black and decker power drill?" I said " no! I will not stage dive for a Black and Decker power drill!" So finally he said "ok, Heather you drive a hard bargain!

  • @theintrepidfox1969: Wow... you sound lame.

  • Exit stage Left!" One of my fondest memories! For months afterwards people would come up to me and say "Hey! You're that girl!" "You were funny!" I really enjoyed hamming it up with Mike! He is the best

  • shutup

  • He IS the best. You were fucking lucky and if he wasn't married at the time, you probably would've got even luckier if he'd taken you backstage, He's divorced now apparently. Go on, go see the reunion shows next year! I reckon they will do US shows eventutally.

  • q vuelvaaaaaaan loco!

    CANTAAAAAAARE

  • volaaare, cantare

  • WTF???????????? Unless he's taking the piss What The Fuck???? Still I must say I do like.

  • CANTAREEEEEEEEEEE

  • I'm shocked!

  • Why? Patton is noted for covering songs that are sung by talented people no matter what genre.

  • Exactly. Iv'e seen them do all kinds of stuff including the the Nestle's song!

  • He even covered Glory Box by Portishead

  • VOLAAAAARE
