  • dude move out of your moms basement and get a life.

  • But I like my mom's basement and having no life is my raison de tre.

  • Our military has a saying that "we rule the night". The Air Force has a mandate, to be met by 2025, that "we rule the weather". HAARP, according to the public relation guy, has no limitations to the experiments, and frequencies used.

  • Yes, HAARP is really something that needs more airing. I think there is also a mind control angle there as well.

  • I find it interesting that people can get a felony in either party's "health care" bills. What "rights" do you lose when you have a felony. What socioeconomic group is likely to be charged with the CRIME OF NO HEALTH CARE INSURANCE?

THERE'S SOMETHING TO FUCKING RIOT ABOUT!

Whats going fucking happen when everywhere looks like wilmington, after DHL pulled out?

Their protesting higher tuition, not all the HOPE AND CHANGE. They walked out without arrest, but pending charges. I am not impressed.

  • You are right about the importance of bigger issues but I like that the students are getting involved in any way.

  • BEWARE OF THE MOON RIOTS!

  • Complex Problem-Simple Solution----advise NWO to

read "Humpty Dumpty"..... I don't think "all the King's horses and men" will help this time. ........ "Out Damn Spot"

  • Yes, I agree ! And I hope, this will not be an isolated event. Many other actions need to take place across campuses all over the nation. And not just because of tuition increases. UC Berkeley Students also protested against keeping John Yoo (who wrote the infamous justifications for the White House in favor of torture) on the faculty. This must go WAY beyond complaints about tuition.

  • I concur!!

  • california has been run straight into the ground by liberal policies. tax and spend. illegals welcome. no drilling. now the free ride is coming to an end. there's a reason the wealthy are depopulating california? so sorry.

  • Oh, please. This is the beginning of a nationwide trend.

Countries w/essential human values invest in the future thru the kids.

Only people like yourself w/your canned MSm-fed

visionless values (pull up the anchor I'm aboard) give a shit about the fundamental joys of life to which all of talent good intellect must be given expression and support.

I would gladly pay 40% taxes to support the long neglected young.

It's called civilised society..Norway has no problem with it.

  • Furthermore, reinvestment in generations to come benefit YOU. instead here in the u.s. we spend on ridiculous costs to the elderly while the generation they produced drop like flies.

What's more, they don't give a shit who suffers as long as they've got theirs.

This is a warped sick to the soul country any way you look at it. Yeah. Fuck the kids. Right. Go to hell.

  • dropping like flies? not yet...what do you have against old folks? they were promised by the federal govt medical care and retirement. they promised them there money would be in private accounts. they lied. social security and medicare represent $80 trillion of debt.

who doesn't want to help kids. i do. you do, even the worst of the political hacks probably do. but programs that pay $24,000 to give away $4,000 aren't a help (cash for klunks)

  • norway doesn't have 6000 federal employees counting paper clips or have nancy pelosi who needs 5 private jets in the middle of a recession at $200,000,000 or pay for michele obama's 21 personal assisstants and buying votes at 100 mill a piece.

this all the while those very same people refuse to allow us to do the very thing norway is doing--drilling for oil.

the obamas and pelosis of the world do not represent civilised society, they represent gross excess and repressive policies.

  • There is no doubt that California had been mishandled but I support the idea of resistance and protest.

  • resistance and protest are grand. henry david thoreau would agree. but it is ironic that many of the liberal berkley types made so much fun of the tea party rallies in washington. from personal attacks to the concept to the childish sexual references. what they don't understand is that what they are going through right now is what the tea parties were about. exactly so.

but if folks are going to lay the red state blue state game for every issue then more of this is in store. what do we value?

  • What underlies this decrease in funding, hm?

could it be less access to betterment and a good life for kids? Yes. It appears to be so.

Next question: Quality of education, you can't get it in the u.s.a. where teachers are either internally or externally limited in the dispensing of knowledge or expertise.

Where cab kids go to receive a decent education. It is no longer in the u.s. even ;if you can afford it. Like paying $1,000 for a bucket of chicken,

  • Your comments are well taken deckchairs. Though I would hesitate to say anything about money "ill spent" on the elderly since they are after all a source of wisdom and knowledge and have paid their dues. But certainly kids are the future and need to be supported.

  • This sits on the edge of another "divide and conquer" deal you get when there is topheavy distribution toward one end of the societal spectrum (elderly) and spread evenly throughout to those worrying about their kids and working 2 or 3 jobs.

I lose objectivity when it comes to the pain quotient.

I could say my mother never worked a day in her life (true) because of this system, not a nice human, but that would be immaterial and subjectively emotional of me.

  • My point is that ALL deserve sane and decent reasonable support.

If you are a nation interested in sustaining itself you give your youth the gift that brings priceless returns in terms of your nation's sustainable vitality.

Instead, in the u.s. kids are viewed as utility for war death and suffering this govt kills their spirit by giving them nothing whatsoever to look forward to, rewards not brilliance regarding that as a threat, reserved for drooling priviledged.

I could go on all day

  • incidentally, i find it hard to believe that you aren't already paying more than 40% in taxes. if you aren't...keep it to yourself.

  • Considering 30 or so other types of taxes we pay it probably exceeds that by a lot, yes.

I wouldn't want to live in CA . It really is an impossible equation to balance & the result of floodgates standing open for a few decades. That was deliberate. Now comes the price.

Arnold is a crude man to have at the helm while billions go into light-rail giving IOUs is barking insane.

Mexico does yes parasite it's economy on the u.s. and so England does the same thing on other nations.

  • Ahhh I remember the good ole days when Obama promised alot of things like taking money from the extremely wealthy and cycling it back to the middle class..not taking MORE money from the middle class and bailing out 'too big to fail' corporations of the elites...this is just the beginning!

  • Was it so short a time ago??

  • You cannot blame Obama, when there is a fucking paranoia around. People seem to be afraid of "big goverment" or "healthcare for all". At least Obama seems to try to fight for a change.

  • Curious how you perceive his cabinet throwbacks from the 70s and 80s.

These are mighty destructive people with some odiferous crusts on their underwear.

I would give anything to believe O is for real. I would so dig that kind of peace of mind were it not that the fruits of his actions literally scream the biggest Bait 'n' Switch in history.

Who cares what he SAYS! Actions tell us everything about a person, and this man ain't right.

If you're not worried you're not paying attention.

  • noname: Heres a news flash BIG GOVT is never a good thing....they are all whores of the too big to fail corps. And I dont necessarily blame Obama because he is a puppet like the rest of the presidents...I want the wizard behind the curtain pulling the strings. JFK was shot in the head for being a 'real' president*

  • But look at health care: When actions against the interest of these corps were planned, there was massive propaganda and the majority opposed these plans.

i am an Austrian. I do not know as much about your country than you do. But from my perspective the propaganda of the "free market=good" "the rich =good + poor" is wrong. In the EU and in the US we must start to fight it.

  • If anything, there was not the amount of insurance industry propaganda as I expected. It made me feel that the insurance industry was being covered in some way. As time passed, I understood why. The lobbyists wrote both party's bills, and forced insurance makes the industry money. Single payer was thrown out for a "public option". In this country our "representatives" sign bills with 300 pages added at 3AM, the night before it's slammed through; with NO "time to read". Another Obuma promise

  • But ask yourself why these industries are so powerfull! And do not forget, that the republicans (responsible for the whole crisis) are their puppets.

It makes me so sad, that at least in Europe more and more people have forgotten how to fight for their rights. The labour unions lose power. We have to build up new, reasonable lobbying for our interests - or we are lost

  • It's a 2 party lie. The CHANGE OF FACE looks similar, but has the same toiletries. It's simple enough to see the continued agenda's that have existed for years now. Even the Vietnam protesters were manipulated by our secret government that has continued regardless of administration changes.

AUDIT THE FED! THE SAME CRIMINALS HAVE BEEN F*CKING WITH THE WORLD SINCE THE BEGINNING. THE P-ACT IS GREAT IF IT WERE USED PROPERLY. FED/IMF,UN, CFR ,ADL ,TC, BILDERBERG= TREASONOUS BASTARDS.

    LOGAN ACT!

  • Then demand the election mode of italy. They have dozens of partys. It does not make politics better, but it feels more democratic than a system that supports a reduction to 2 parties.

I would not believe too much of this FED-conspiracy going on in the US from people who do not want to talk about system changes itself. The problems lay in our economic system itself and are not the fault of some unknown monsters. Already Marx called these projections on idividuals "Charaktermasken" ;)

  • NO THANKS, eliminate the criminals from politics.

Eliminate the PRIVATE FEDERAL RESERVE, IMF, AND U.N. NO MORE CFR, TRILATERAL COMMISSION, BILDERBERG, AND THE REST.

LOGAN ACT again. And there are others. How about we enforce the laws we have, before we create more that we won't.

If you don't "believe too much of the FED-conspiracy", you need to keep doing some research. How many years have we had a FED CEO as Treasury Secretary now?

  • obama is the impetus behind what you call paranoia. if you haven't, he is moving across large swaths of the economy and usurping authority. he is dong so much, so fast that it is hard to keep track. within 9o days he had 2 auto manufacturers and 400 banks under fed authority and the way it was done isn't pretty either.

  • Most people can't affort tuition rates and here's Oblama trying to persude mom's to go and get a degree. With what f***ing money? - I don't get it.

  • Yeah right.

  • They should tax the rich and abolish tuition rates! I hope that we are succeeding in building up a global student movement...I think people now are realising that free education is a necessity for a real democracy

  • This is a tough spot for me. I am a college student/ full time worker dealing with tuition hikes. That being said, UCB is a state school and the tuition hikes are part of California's massive budget deficit. Most of the protesters are most likely of the liberal mindset and seem to have no problem with the government raising taxes and taking from those that work yet they complain when they are asked to pay more. It seems a tad bit hypocritical to me.

  • Perhaps but I'll still call it a good thing.

  • Of course they are liberals?

At least the libertarians in Europe do not give a shit about the education of the poor. The government should spend less on banks, military, police and more on our education. Not the working or young, but the rich have to be taxed! Education is a right. Rich parents for everybody!

  • everybody needs a stake in society which means everybody needs to pay something. we cannot be dependents of the wealthy class, which we damn near are, because in addition to being unfair, it's unsustainable. right now there is $350 in tarp $ we can't account for. 8% of the "stimulus "$80 billion lost in the shuffle. this amount alone surpasses many entire economies of other countries. we don't lack $ we severely lack competence.

  • It is over? I do not believe that. The use of police has never solved education problems. Maybe the form of protest has changed, but protest itself must and will continue!

In Europe 70 universities are occupied and at least here in Vienna we will never go away unless more money is spent on education - for all!

  • Good for you.

  • Yeah good on them!

  • Right on!

  • i can't wait... tomorrow's the end the fed rally, all across the country. there's been a lot of protesting this year, and i think that congress truly is hearing all of it. either that or they'll be pink-slipped, as cv112 said.

  • That should be something.

  • The beginning of the end for the new world order!!!

  • That would be great.

  • hopefully its just the beginning. schools here are doing midyear tuition increases too due to reduction in state support.

William & Mary just announced it the other day and some others.

  • We can hope.

  • Persoanlly, I'd love to see American college campus ERUPT into riotous chaos! Maybe that would send a message to BHO.

  • Me too.

  • I felt the same when I saw that many can have an effect on the few. I wonder what district this sort of thing could be useful for a country? Hmmmm? Any ideas people?

  • ucla too

    hat tip Tene

  • Yeah it's heartening. They may not yet be protesting the global issues but perhaps it is a good sign that they will be doing so.

  • He that stirs next to carve for his own rage Holds his soul light; he dies upon his motion. Silence that dreadful bell: it frights the isle From her propriety. Im sure ppl like you will silence the truth and use others for their own political gain. I can only hope that one day YOU will wake up.

  • why aren't they protesting the wars?

  • college riots are the next thing.....

keep up the great work and videos !!!

  • UC Berkeley is known for protesting but I don't know if students of other colleges have the courage to do so.

  • College students tend to be a bit smarter than average folk (barring people like Bush who get into fancy schools merely because of one's connections) so it is expected that people of above average intelligence will be waking up -- at least I would hope so.

It seems mostly the dopes around my little town who don't wake up. I think it has to do with one's intelligence at this point. Dumb people accept whatever happens. The less intelligent one is, the more abuse one takes.

  • Hope my comment isn't overgeneralising.

  • I think it may be... I have many educated friends, even with advanced degrees that are dumb and ignorant.

  • Those people who hold the reins of the future in this country need to voice their opinions or they will have no future. Thank you UCLA students for standing up.

  • UCLA students stood up but UC Berkeley students stood up even more. UCLA students could have done alot more. Youtube it.

  • No more cuts, no more fees, education should be free!!!

  • education should be education, not indoctrination

  • five stars

  • There is a lot more protesting going on lately, and it's good to see. To me it's a symbolic act of spirit that inspires the culture.

btw, I just got book one of Sinister Forces, can't wait to start reading :D

  • Berkley has a history of protests; I was wondering when they'll get around to it now, good news, more sit ins, and antiwar rallys!

  • Well it is good that the students stand up to the B.S. tuition hike but there is nothing they can do about it, unless they burn down the colleges and move to another state for education. Essentially, the government drives up tuition cost by offering government grant and loans, which is good for students until the colleges take advantage of these programs. Funny how most colleges are liberal based and these future students that oppose these cost will come out of college with a liberal mentality..

  • quite invigorating isn't it. I had the privledge of participating in this protest, no longer than fourty-five minutes ago when I was on my way to Evan's Hall for a routine evening of study. when I was lured in by reiteration of the chant: "Who's University? Our University." Not before long I was in a arm-lock around a police vehicle which was transporting fencing material in order to barricade the administration building where the protesting originally formed

  • . what first gave me an inkling that something was happening was the fire alarm sirens going off from all the buildings. Apparently they systematically triggered almost all of the alarms, in order to garner the greatest audience, very inspiring.

  • Hooah! UC Berkeley .

That book sounded like weather warfare

was in the works long ago, interesting

  • Yes indeed.

  • we should protest at your local grocery store, ,walmart, target, rising prices are the result of greed an taking advantage of poor people by the rich/influential types

  • I agree!

  • I join you and raise my glass to toast these students!

  • Absolutely!!!
