  • I promise to not question his mendacity.

  • wow....

  • What is your middle name? Why would it possibly matter? Your showing your intelligence Mr. Steve Numbnuts King!

  • King ---we want to see where you stand on the issues! Not just hear your crazy rhetoric! Why won't you debate Matt Campbell!!

  • Yet another thing King was wrong about.

  • no they arent going to build a mosque next to ground zero funded by radicals this guy just had no idea what he was talking about i wonder if this one will be like the many others symbolizing victory in the area that they are built on

  • Americans are such a wonderful people, so nice, so polite, so peaceful, so understanding, so selfless, so even handed, and most of all they are all so beatutiful.

  • I cannot believe the people of Iowa voted for this stupid mother fucker.

  • @rushnut1958 I'm from Iowa and I am totally ashamed of this creep! Matt Campbell is running against him and King flatly refuses to debate him. He said Matt hasn't earned that! He earned it when he got the nom!

  • @tangogonzo As one who suffers through Sam Brownback and Pat Roberts as my Senators, let me say I feel your pain my friend.

  • following his logic, don't vote for Mr. King because monarchist will dance in the streets!

    the irony is soooo delicious:-)

  • Barack Obama has appointed two devout Muslims to Homeland Security positions. I feel safer already. As for robbing and pillaging the treasury, chalk that up to Pelosi and the democrat controlled congress. Brain dead idiots believed the rhetoric and the lies and now we have an inexperienced terrorist sympathizer in charge of the USA. Bush is not the President, Obama is. This economy is his baby, not Bush. Why aren't you liberals crying about the deficit that Obama created now?

  • @djm159 Same reason why Republicans weren't crying over an illegal war, torture which is an illegal crime, poor spending that led us into a two trillion dollar deficit, the faux idea of a border fence, amnesty for illegals, etc., and that reason is: "Derp we got our guy elected, derp."

Democrats, Republicans, lend me your ears: Stop the partisan, two party bullshit. All it takes is two ears and some patience; listen for once?

  • This man is aptly named. He's scary!

  • Lol Islam will like it.. Yeah and just like any other presidency where christians feel like they won..

    What a fucking joke.

  • New definition for "Terrorism": Dancing in the street.

When will they hunt David Bowie or Mick Jagger instead of Osama Bin Laden?

Dancing in the street is for sure one of the most serious problems ever.

And so finally the secret weapons of Saddam Hussein are identified. Remember, he hosted a lot of Britney Spears CDs and videos.

  • Hey dumbass. It's not simply the dancing in the streets that's bad. It is what dancing in the street symbolizes.... Victory. Now i'm sure that jayj will delete this but i'm just letting you know that king isn't the stupid one here.....

  • Oh nooooooooooo! We pulled out of Afghanistan?

Took almost a year, but this guy definitely has his foot in his mouth now.

  • Fair enough - terrorists were angry about American policies, if Obama's election makes them happier, aren't we safer? I think it's unfair to call this guy racist though - he is using non-ignorant, non-hateful facts in support of his comment about the middle name.

However, I'd like to see liberals start using the terms "solve" or "resolve" instead of "win".. it's just stupid to keep talking about this as though it were really a typical war instead of a political and criminal phenomenon.

  • I do not think he is racist but he is certainly reaching. He is not conducting an intelligent argument in the least.

  • This clown is in same party as George W Bush. They robbed and pillaged the financial backbone of the USA and the went crashing down in flames. Oh, Mr King, give us more words of wisdom !!! Ha-ha

  • Comment removed

  • What is an Is-lem-ist?

  • wow what a douche bag

  • Did these guys really think that they would remain the majority in congress with constant lying, fear-mongering and war profiteering?

The republican party is a joke.

  • Some republicans.. Neo-cons Are ridiculous...

But yeah there's always a bunch of dumbass greedy people.

  • King tells it like it is. Why wouldn't terrorists be dancing in the streets if Obama wins? He wants to surrender in Iraq. If I were a terrorist, I would love a Pres. Obama.

  • The real truth, is that it is Conservatives who have no faith in the greatness of America, because they actually believe that the mere mention of a particular name can destroy this country.

Cons are such pussies. Weak-minded fools. Sunshine "patriots", and fair weather friends.

As a Liberal, I believe this country is far stronger than that. I am not afraid of any stupid terrorist, and I place my freedom before my life, just as our Founders did.

Con's just don't have the guts to do that.

  • OMG! I hope Iowa doesn't re-elect this idiot!

  • From Steve King's district, we apologize for sending him to Washington...

  • Thank you lov3s2spooge for your daring insight into liberal ideology. Your sparkling word play and brilliant screen name lend credibility to your argument and really speak to your intelligence. If all liberals could just think like you, we'd all live in the white washed world that Jesus intended.

  • Liberals should just shut up and eat animal semen. DIE, LOONY LEFTISTS, DIE!

  • My god you liberal treehugging douchebags should be hung with shit in your mouths. I don't care if Obama is Muslim or not nor for what you vulgar new age scum say, Steve King only makes valid points--you sons of bitches are completely out of tune with reality, and not just that crap that your spoonfed by the dominant liberal media...delusional crap. I'm tired of liberals asserting that they are some kind of intellectuals. Open-mindedness does not, nor has it ever indicated intelligence...

  • What a moron. I guess by his logic, anyone with the middle name of Walker should not be elected to office. If a country were to do so, it would mark a victory for all the radical Fundamentalist Christians around the world. They would be dancing in the streets.

  • Islamists?!

That alone should be enough to discredit this moron.

  • Hmm, in that case, the greatest sports icon of the past century- muhammad ali is a terrorist!!!

    KILL HIM!!

Shut up Steve King. You mouth is good enuff to shut up and wipe some reality ass.

  • nobody should vote for a candidate because they have a muslim middle name the their father was born in Africa. Hmmmmmm... sounds like an ignorant political posture to take, doesn't it?

  • i really dont care who is a lier and who is dumb or who is stupid.......... but one thing i will say, is that we all better read between the lines cause we have been warned several of times and because we ignored it!!!! alot of people have died!!!!! u may want to keep that in mind.. cause if we dont our enemies just might take over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You have made one of the most intellectual comments yet, ulani4. Very good point! Of course one little remark in here, on point or not, can have the FLAMERS coming at you. Just let them FLAME ON and don't let them get ya worked up. WHO or WHAT really doesn't matter. The things that Do matter ARE found by reading between the lines and reflecting on the MISTAKES made in the past that cost all those peoples lives. Thank you for your comment, SINCERELY!!!

  • Ooohh, booga booga, Barack is the Manchurian Candidate of the 21st century. Idiot rednecks, give me a break!

  • Give the guy a break, he's from Iowa. All he's been exposed to in his life has been corn and cow shit.

  • ha! humorous! i feel ya...he is still a dufus though.

  • King's statement may just be the dumbest thing I've ever heard from a politician. And I'm not even an Obama supporter.

  • King's statement may just be the dumbest thing I've ever heard from a politician. And I'm not even an Obama supporter.

  • @coffeeintheface Yeah, the dancing in the streets comment was way too far-fetched; the fact is, groups like Al-Qaeda fear the very fact that we even have elections which could spur strategic or tactical changes to our militaries geo-political deployment.

Democrat, Republican; when it comes down to handling the national security of the United States, Reagan's and Carters will always surface, but the war is still fought.

  • Just to add the comment above...just because we have a hammer (The military) does not mean every problem is a nail...we should think of how we can look strong by other means (like letting Iraqis sort their country out) than how weak we look. Strength comes from looking at the path we have taken objectively and correcting it if need be.

  • I don't understand the obsession with looking weak. Fact: no country/ organization in the world has a more powerful army. The problem in Iraq is that the US army did its job, it defeated the Iraqi army. They should have left the nation building to the Iraqis and UN. Continued stay of the US military in Iraq is what exposes the US to defeat and looking weak, it is a slow death of a thousand cuts, with a solider being killed per day (average). The military has done its job.Let them come home.

  • Prejudice Disguised as Legitimacy?

  • heebie jeebies? your just a racist american ignorant prick

  • It is understandable that Obama doesn't make you feel comfortable. Racist scum like you are pathetic ignorant jackasses. Fuck off!

  • because names are scary??

  • SMWEST33 - Man, you conservatives just live, breathe, eat and drink fear. It's part of your DNA. You have no arguement that doesn't include fear as a principal factor.

heebie jeebies? Because of his name? Are you afraid of your own shadow or what? Are you six years old?

Anyone who actually agrees with this Congressman King idiot is an even bigger idiot and a complete pushover. Karl Rove LOVES you people, you're exactly who he targets. Mindless fear-based dumbbots.

  • Oh my, you changed my life. Thank you so much for that well thought out reply and so full of wisdom I might add. It's people like you, with such INTELLIGENCE, that really make a difference in my life. I mean, I view it all differently now and it's all thanks to you. Oh may God bless you my dear. My life will never be the same.

  • That's it? Gee, how clever. Never heard that one before. You made a funny.

    Typical moronic Conservative response.

  • metavoice, I want to thank you for your comments.

  • Thank you for yours.

  • but the war was in Afghanistan not in iraq it was just a way bush diverted the U.S. away from Afghanistan to let osama get away and bin laden would have never got the chance to attack the United States if bush would've went after the terrorist before they attacked it was just his excuse to go to war with the middle east and bring a 9/11 type of situation to sell his war to the American people and we fell for it because anger and fear were a part of his scheme bush preying on our emotions.

  • End of Discussion for me. I wish all of you out there the best that life has to offer. May God bless us all. Thank you for the comments, stuntbaby63. I appreciate your honesty as well. I will close with this, "Life is like a piano, what you get out of it depends on how you play it.

  • then hillary is also considered a terrorist lover cause she wants to pull out of iraq also but i dont see anybody scrutinizing her about it its just cause he is black and nothing else and all those news reporters are in on it too smearing his campaign also just take a look at cnn, msnbc, fox hannity, joe scarborough, pat buchanan, oreilly, tucker, chris mathews and all the clowns covering the presidential race are all in on this racist revolution against one candidate.

  • stuntbaby63, you too, are amazing. I'll bet you love the crap that pours out of Rush Limbaugh's mouth as well. Your what if senerio only shows an excuse for the innappropriate comments made by Iowa congressman Steven King regarding Senator Obama. There are lots of fellow Americans who have uncommon names or names that narrow-minded folks can associate with the untruth. As far as a Smith being a radical leader for AQ, is it like a McVeigh or a James Earl Ray in America? Polit.Correctness,LOL

  • Hello LavenRal,

If there was a candidate whose last name was Hussein and his ideas and values matched mine, I would vote for him in a second. His name means nothing to me. But thanks to the politically correct crowd, a campaign sign with his name on it would be packaged as hate speech. Do you see the folly of your kind of thinking?

  • An American racist is a special, stupider kind of racist.

  • What if Al Qaida elected a new leader whose middle name was Smith? What if his father was a secularist who sent him to secular schools? What if this new Al Qaida leader constantly vilified Osama Bin Laden and vowed to swallow defeat by withdrawing from Iraq? If these things were to happen, Americans would, with out doubt, dance in the streets. If Obama gets elected, why wouldn't our enemies have a similar reaction? If you can't see that, then you've been blinded by political correctnesss.

  • 1. You assume that Obama is pulling out in order to lose the war. You are quite reductionistic in this and have overlooked his desire to address Al Quaeda's stronghold in Afghanistan/Pakistan. In fact, if your analogy holds then Al Quaeda, using its new leader, turns to America.

    2. Americans would not dance in the streets. Americans would still want justice

    3. You ignore the benefit to America by pulling out. This war, as it is currently prosecuted, is unsustainable. Bias is what blinds.

  • My Comments are to Stuntbaby

  • Thanks for the reply, metavoice,

I can understand your points, but I simply disagree. Two reasons: 1) When Clinton withdrew from Somalia, America appeared weak. Saddam Hussein rallied his troops with "Blackhawk Down" to sell that point and Bin Laden took it as an invitation to attack us on 9/11. (Remember the "paper tiger" insult?) 2) If I were an Al Qaida terrorist, how would I view America's withdrawal from Iraq? I would see it as a victory for us and a defeat for "The Great Satan".

  • I appreciate your point, Sb. However, the idea of "looking weak" is a position rooted in politics as usual. Our interests there are too valuable to continue in these types of policies. We will either "appear" weak now or actually end up being weakened by the current approach.

I'm convinced we must reestablish public trust in our leadership in this country. If we aggressively prosecute the "war on terror" in a smarter and stronger way, we can overcome this so-called appearance of weakness.

  • The current Iraq approach stokes anti-American sentiment and radicalizes a new generation of radical extremists. Ironically we are the best recruiting tool Al Quaeda has at this point. Iraqis don't want Al Quaeda in their country. Hence, we must use our leverage with Iraqis to place more pressure on terrorist groups. The same is true of Afghanistan. We should have used anti-Taliban sentiment to pressure the Taliban, rather than creating anti-American sentiment by indiscriminately bombing.

  • MetaVoice,

You're a class act. Thanks for your measured and reasonable tone. Often when I talk to people, I get called every name in the book. I will respond to some of your comments later, but for now, I have to get going. Thanks a lot and take care.

  • I appreciate it, SB. I also appreciate your tone. Talk to you later. Peace.

  • Hi Metavoice,

"Politics as usual" is what we have always had and what we will always have. Barrack Obama's rhetoric is as tired out and useless as any I have ever heard. There are consequences for appearing weak to the folks who have publicly committed themselves to the destruction of the free world. Look at history. The mistakes made by the Left today are the same ones that lead to Hitler and Stalin. A lack of "public trust" is not what we should be focused on. Thanks, M.V.

  • Again, the "politics as usual" statement is not simply a cliche to me. Vietnam was continued because of the same kinds of reasons. We wanted to avoid looking weak, to avoid the appearance of a loss. This is the kind of politics that create trouble. It conceals a kind of arrogance and pride. However, this attitude is not reflective of the American populace. Our foreign policy should reflect the desire of the nation and not those who seek some type of self-aggrandizement. Bush blew it. Thank you.

  • It is amazing how STUPID any one individual can be in this day and age. This racist "Clown" is putting his entire political career on the line by making this idiotic statement on the global information network. What this fool fails to see is that only his local voters might give a crap about him being a bigot. The rest of the world will not only condemn him but will evaluate the type of people who voted him into office. Wake up my fellow "Immigrant", Obama helped to wake up America, Finally.

  • Hello LavenRal,

Rather than dismissing him as a "bigot", why not try to understand what he said? It's way too easy to play the "I-don't-debate-the-racist" card and far too many people play it.

    Thanks.

  • He is from Iowa! What the fuck does he care about Al Queda? Are terrorists gonna hijack some tractors and run them into a barn out there? He is a gahhhdamnnn IDIOT! He is clearly smearing Obama and McCain needs to denounce this guy. Jeeeze - republicans NEVER cease to amaze me.

  • It's amazing someone so ignorant could be a sitting congressman. Notice the use of "they" and "radical Islamists." And exactly whose streets is he referring to? Streets of Muslims in Africa, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Iraq...where exactly?

    1. Obama voted to help win the war and has stated his desire to win.

    2. S.K. overlooks the diversity among Muslims?

    3. S.K. makes no distinction between Islam and its radical elements

    4. He doesn't consider the positive connotations of the name

  • Get this guy out of government. He's a clear racist. I hope terrorists show up at HIS front door.

  • just how many others do you think are in government just like him? race has alot to do with this presidential race. to sum it up we've had years of racism in America and these fools are'nt about to let any other race into the white house easily without showing their true colors i agree with you totally.

  • What an idiot.

  • I thought Steve King was part of the Martin Luther King movement? Ohh, maybe it was just because of his last name.

Iowa needs to get rid of this guy.

The more Obama wins, the more these guys come out of the woodwork.

The might have hidden their racists thoughts before, but now they can no-longer keep it in, thinking a black man is going to be their president. lol

    OBAMA RULES.

    Vote for Obama.

    PS - Obama is WHITE.

  • I wonder what America's good friend, King Hussein, thinks about us degrading his name. Don't judge anyone by their name. Obama would do what is best for America. This guy is a racist and Hillary continues to be a monster.

  • if Obama is the right one for the office who gives a dam who dances in the middle east

  • I hope his wife gets breast cancer.

  • WTF

  • Ridiculous. Steve King is an asshole.

  • who voted for this guy? i think i became a little dumber for hearing that crap
