if you are doing this this yea i think a daylight view of how its all hooked up would be awesome cause i am trying to figure out how to run multiple receivers to the main transmitter without making it cost a fortune and i run about 48 strands just on my roof and im tired of them being static and not moving to lights and entertaining if you could help me with this that would be much appreciated thank you happy holidays
I am terribly sorry to say, but this was just an experiment. I wanted to see if the actual controller could be a possible output for the LOR sequence editor. Unfortunately, I had later found out that the controller's firmware was not supported by the sequence editor. It would be a waste of money. You are better off buying an 8 channel or 16 channel package. It would give you more control, better effects, and even more amperage than the old GE system.
Wow, I have one of these to use for this year, and I hope to do as good as you. Your display goes with the motto: It's not how many channels you have, it's what you do with them that counts! Very, very good job!
My friend told me that a house from the Canton area was on here, so I came to look. Very nice! We saw one like this on Elberta, just off of Everhard, and I expected that that was the house my friend was talking about, but I see yours is a different house. Do you mind giving a general area where you are located, if your lights are still up? Thanks!
Thank you. We are located on Saratoga Hills Dr NE which is just off of Middlebranch & Werner Church (1/4 south of Applegrove) The lights are down now. Next year, we will be running a 160 channel synced to music played on the radio with about 50000 lights. We will most likely be running from Thanksgiving day until a couple of days after 2008 Christmas
Thanks! We'll keep you in mind for next year. Every year, we like to drive around to certain areas where we know there are good lights. We'll be sure to check yours out too. My husband used the GE lights thing too (he bought it at BJ's), but it wasn't as elaborate as yours and we didn't have it linked to an FM station either.
I opened the machine carefully and soldered a shielded cable to the speaker terminals. (Remember to solder the 'braid' or ground wire to the speaker lead marked negative) and the other TWO wires together to the other speaker terminal. This way you can still have audio from the machine and both left and right audio are soldered together and ready to go to your FM transmitter.
beautiful house i can't wait for my lights and sounds to come in but where did you get those snow flakes on your porch and can you tell me how much and what are they called exactly
Thanks! The snowflakes and stars on the porch are from Wal-Mart and Target, they have separate controllers so are not hooked up to the main unit. They come in a strand of 10 for abut $15 if I remember correctly
