  • viper spoon is my favorite lure too

  • @nickjd01 Thanks for sharing & good fishing to you!

  • are u usin tubes or vipers

  • @spookycheese123 We were using Vipers rigged with artificial worms. Thanks & good fishing!

  • are u usin tubes

  • I like the way you bug toni about the lure..lol funny

  • @REZ138 Glad you enjoyed the video - we did have a lot of fun that day!

  • walleye don't fight much but they are good eating for sure!!

  • @gman4136438 You're 100% on that! Good fishing!

Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water!

  • i use walleye rigs favorite color black and yellow

  • @AmazingZombieWeapons That's great - stick to what works for you! Thanks!

  • Thats some good old Trollans

  • @kavkazip Thanks for tuning in and good fishing.

  • If you troll anything around long enough in Lake Erie you'll catch a walleye...stupid lure...Running a Jet Diver on a spinning rod...Stupid...

Thinking a 40 Jet goes 50ft is also stupid...

Is this supposed to be an infomercial from the creator of this retarted lure?

  • @JLRhino911 Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Just to clarify, the jet diver dove 40 feet, in 50 feet of water....i.e. it did not dive 50 feet, but rather, was suspended 40 feet down. Sometimes we run 20 foot Jet Divers in 50 or more feet of water as the lake Erie walleye like to suspend. Right now, we are catching them 20' down in 63' of water.

We hope you are enjoying your summer and that you are having a great time on the water. Until next time good luck and good fishing.

  • @thundermistlures

Prove it ya fucking dickhead, everything you say is a fucking lie, a fabrication of matter, Distortion of Facts, Twisting and Putting political spins on every video you do.Just remember we have over 9000 penis's worldwide Were gonna put a fucking end to this Youtube Channel,For Good.

  • If you troll anything around long enough in lake erie you'll catch a walleye...stupid lure

  • This title is misleading .-.

  • @AgustinNoesEverythin Thanks for the feedback and thanks for tuning in to our video.

Until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • Ok i have a qustion im going to be fishing in in 8-12 feet of water and the lake is 20 feet deep how would i target walleyes? if you could get back to me that would be great

  • @specnigger If you have any weed beds or weed lines in 8 - 12 ft, then work the out side weed edge as the walleye will be staged there looking for their next meal. You can throw crank baits, or work jigs along the weed edge or troll a Viper Spoon on a T-Turn bottom bouncing rig.

If you do not have weeds, then fish any rock points during the early morning or evening/night, as the walleye will move in shallow to feed.

Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water!

  • You be trolling

  • @WarriorBees In this video, we were trolling at about 1 .5 to 2 MPH

  • This isn't trolling-related, but do you guys ever use a slip-bobber for catching walleye? Heard it works great if you're running a tipped jighead or just live/artificial/cut bait on a hook. You can suspend it right off the bottom if you get the depth set right.

  • @nmigliore We have never fished for walleye with a slip bobber. Sound like it should work in shallow water. Thanks for writing & good fishing!

  • on lake Erie gold is the shit!!!!!!

  • @horvathluke Thanks for tuning in to our video and for taking time to write to us - until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • @theotherguy621 my 12 year old brother caught a 32in 11 pounder in canada a few years ago

  • @theotherguy621 Nice fish! Good luck on the water!

  • how to do u catch a walleye on a live worm? like with a regular lazer charp hook and a canadian nightcrawlwer?

  • @JHoward393 You can troll a live worm on a worm harness. You can cast or troll a spinner with a piece of worm.

You can also cast & retrieve a jig tipped with a worm. The main thing is to keep the bait moving as this will attract the walleye to the bait. Thanks & good luck.

  • how to do u catch a walleye on a live worm?

  • walleye is some good eating!

  • @edw313 You are so right! Good fishing!

  • I love Walleye they are so dang hard to catch though, I randomly catch em when bass fishing every so often

  • @educatedplaya05 They can be challenging. You may have better luck just focusing on them a little more. Thanks & good luck!

  • nice video im fairly new to walleye trolling planning on doing a lot on smaller lakes around southwest pa 2 questions how do you rig your plastic baits to the spoon? and do you you run braided line to your dipsy/jet diver or just a good flourocarbon line?

  • @cementhauler99 If you want to run braid to your dipsy or jet diver, that is o.k., but you will definitely want to run fluorocarbon to your lure. As for rigging the Viper Spoons with bait, we have a number of videos that show you this and it would be best to view the vidoe, as it will show you exactly how iot's done.

You can find the video on our you tube channel, or by doing a search in our Thundermist fishing tips web site. Thanks for writing in & you are going to love fishing for walleye!

  • i noticed your useing a spinning rod while trolling? Am i right if so then im def takeing mine out to troll

  • @TeamDinkOutdoors You are right - on this day, we were using spinning rods & reels.

Thanks for taking time to write to us and good luck on the water!

  • @thundermistlures Now is this safe for the rod and reel? Or does it depend on the fish species your going after. I was told striped bass you cant troll for with a spinng equipment cuz it will burn the reel up

  • @TeamDinkOutdoors The rod & reel will be safe. Use a fiberglass rod for trolling (not graphite) and as long as you have a good spinning reel, with a decent drag system, it will handle a big striper.

Thanks again and good luck on the water - hope you catch some nice stripers!

  • @thundermistlures Now is this safe for the rod and reel? Or does it depend on the fish species your going after. I was told striped bass you cant troll for with a spinng equipment cuz it will burn the reel up

  • I enjoy your videos thanks for making them and posting!

  • @jestes7 Thanks! Good fishing to you!

  • 4 more days!!!

  • @validjam .....hope you bag your limit :)

  • @thundermistlures oh you know i will ahah

  • shut up and fish.

  • @em84009 We like to explain as much as possible so that the beginners will understand. Thanks & good fishing to you!

  • Ermm ok thanks for your explaination. I only used light jigging rod Abu Garcia Conolon PE1-3.

  • @krenmautberpuaka That's great....glad it worked for you! Thanks!

  • The best rod for casting using this lure is 30lbs?

  • @krenmautberpuaka Nice to hear from you. The Viper Spoons are a light flutter spoon, so you do not need a heavy action rod. A medium action would suffice or you could use a medium/heavy action rod if you need more hook setting power.

Thanks for writing in and good lcuk on the water.

  • I've heard a lot more catching of walleye on trolling, can you show me how i might do that off a dock or land? I know it'll take more time, if possible.

  • @zeeKxxL You can certainly catch walleye from shore and typically, the best time to do so is in the evening or during the night. This is when the walleye would move into the shallows, closer to shore, to feed - so this would be prime time to catch them from shore.

Thanks for writing in and until next time, good lcuk and good fishing.

  • @zeeKxxL You must have a boat to troll as the boat allows your bait to move constantly. The only thing you can do from shore is to cast & retrieve your bait. Thanks & good fishing!

  • @thundermistlures I meant catch walleye off the shore, without trolling. Sorry for the unclarity. Thanks!

  • if you have a pier you can cast out a little ways and walk along the pier. I do that in michigan and have caught a few. Mostly on deep diving husky jerks

  • @zeeKxxL if you have a pier you can cast out a little ways and walk along the pier. I do that in michigan and have caught a few. Mostly on deep diving husky jerks

  • Thanks for idia. I made it for my self and will try it soon. It seems to be good.i used FISHLANDER #2. Is it possible?

    Thanks from Sankt-Petersburg, Russia.

  • @cipulnyak Nice to hear form you in Russia and thanks for tuning in! Should you ever want to order any, we do ship internationally as well.

Until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • was that a sp2 or sp3 u use to catch most of your waleye

  • @bkruszka458 We use the SP3 size for larger walleye (7 lbs and over) - for all other walleye, we like to run the SP2 size or even the SP1. Our most popular size for walleye is the SP2.

Thanks for tuning in and good luck on the water.

  • 4 people cant fish?

  • @76virgodragon Thanks for tuning in.

  • @thundermistlures , my pleasure I'm hoping to get in some walleye fishing this year!

  • Nice video as always guys. Is that a Cabela's Whoopin' Stick you are using? I have been thinking about getting a MH Whoopin Stick OR a MH Ugly Stick for Catfish. Also, I was reading your web page, will you handle the currency conversion of USD to CND if I buy some lures?

  • @jipa73 Glad you enjoyed the video and yes, that was a Cabela's Whoopin stick. Suggest getting the ugly stik for catfish though, as it is a better rod.

Regarding the currency exchange question, the on-line store is being switched over to US funds, and this will happen by early next week, so there will not be any loss due to exchange.

You are going to love using the Viper Spoons as they really do work great. Until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • 1st catch seemed like it took an hour to reel it in lol...

  • @igotbling4 Thanks for tuning in....Ivo wanted to give as many tips as possible while bringing in this nice Lake Erie Walleye. Until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • why do people get so excited about these fish...

  • @Mokuliwah It must be that it's one of the best tasting fresh water fish and fish lovers envision tasty fillets on their plate. It certainly wouldn't be it's fighting abilites as these fish don't fight much & tire quickly. Thanks!

  • Nice vid.

  • @ManitobaSportFishing Thanks! Good fishing!

  • all right my friend if you get a chance of doing it please let me know good fishing

  • @cuicaize Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water.

  • see if you can do a peacock bass fishing video , good luck

  • @cuicaize There is always that possibility of shooting a video on peacock bass, although our schedule is quite full well into the following year. Thanks!

  • real great video this guy only makes great videos

  • @cuicaize Thanks! Good fishing!

  • my dad has a house on stony point beach on michigans shore if you know were that is giv me some tips cause its really shallow there

  • @kenkenboylmao We wish we could help you on this one but unfortunately we've never fished in that area.

    Thanks for writing!

  • All those fish are mad

  • Stop trolling

  • @therealzshaner Long video trolling, we know...but wanted to squeeze in as many tips as possible.

Thanks for tuning in and for taking time to write to us. Until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • Lot's of room!

With ELITE rod holders there is NO forward motion in order to set the hook. You set the hook right out of the rod holder!

The base mounting plate size, four inches long and three inches wide and 1/8 inch thick, with a 7/8 inch stem mounting nut welded in the center of base plate. VERY STRONG!

Three stainless screws 1/4 by one and 1/2 inch long are Included.

Break 30 lb. test line straight off the back, with the Elite T20 Pro trolling series.

    One tough rod holder!

  • the pole on the right side looks like its bitting!!!.......lol.

  • @hmongboy9161 Thanks for writing in and sharing - good luck on the water & good fishing!

  • @hmongboy9161 Either that or its smacking bottom pretty hard

  • at 5:00 you have a huge one on the right

  • @mu65 Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water!

  • problem, fish?

  • these are wicked hard to catch up here in the northeast, my friend and i had at least 30 hits from the same one and only one catch, although it was 42 inches! great vid though!

  • @tng150 Glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully you'll have more "hook ups" in the future...sounds like you have plenty of great fishing in your area!

  • trololol

  • /b/ trollin'

  • @TheYummyPokemon We were trolling to catch these fish. Thanks!

  • Hi Thundermistlures, I have a canoe with an electric motor on. I am a rookie but I really want to fish walleye. Any comment to help me with that? Is the grand river mouth at port Maitland a good spot?

  • @Shoorangeez Your canoe will work fine to troll for walleye as long as the waves are low - for your safety. The lower Grand River to Lake Erie is good for walleye. Spring time is your best bet. This time of year may be tougher to catch them but not impossible. Good luck!

  • Trolling. Ha. Need's moar cool faec.

  • you sir, are one helluva fisherman

  • @Kvon74 Thank you and also thank you for writing and for tuning in to our videos.

As always, until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • hey my dad has a boat up in vermillion and we went trolling this year and we used hot n tot lures nothing and we tried drifting but nothing so we are perching now and we are starting to catch jumbos but my qeustion is do hot n tot lures work good.

  • @bohlandpro Yes, Hot-N-tots do work well, so be sure to give them anohter try.

Meanwhile, look like you are having some fun with the jumbo perch and that's great!

Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water.

  • a lot line for one stupid walleye

  • @carlosprog1 Since our motor was quite loud at the slowest speed, sending the bait farther back produced. Thank you & good fishing to you!

  • many2 talk.....no action....

  • @Djoko36 It's meant to be more of an educational video. Beginners will appreciate. Thanks!

  • @thundermistlures yes I'm understand.

  • @thundermistlures Good answer....

  • does it hurt when you grab a fish by the gill

  • @Darianslocalfishing A fish should be handled carefully as to not hurt yourself and to properly release it. Thanks.

  • Hey can you guys do a night fishing video for walleye?

    Thanks

  • @someting29 We did do an evening fishing for walleye and it is on our you tube channel - if you get a chance, check it out as we fished right to sun down and had a great time on the water.

Thanks for writing in and if we get an opportunity to night fish for walleye, we'll be sure to bring our camera man along!

  • too much talk!!!!

  • @sihatsejahtera82 Yes, there is much talking in this video, but the beginners will benefit.

Thanks for writing & good fishing to you!

  • Thats the main place I fish because its right down the street from my house!

  • @VentrioquistMaster ...that's a great place to live! You can sure spend plenty of time on the water...be sure and drop us a line when the walleye start running again.

Thanks for writing in & good fishing!

  • what is the difference with the viper spoons compared to any other spopon? where can you get them and will it work good with downrigging for rainbow and walleye

  • @default011 Viper Spoons have a hook harness which is designed to accommodate bait. They may be purchased on-line, Bass Pro Shops and various tackle shops. They will work great with downriggers for trout & walleye. Thanks for your inquiry!

  • whats the difference between the viper spoon and any other spoon? where can you buy them and will it help me catch rainbow trout and walleye while downrigging?

  • nice fish but maan u talk a lot

  • @jugnoojee ...in this video, I was trying to share many tips and it ended up being long.......trying to give too many tiops in one video clip.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us & thanks for tuning in to our videos. Until next time, good luck and good fishing!

  • At my lake, its a fresh water lake, we went trollin' for walleye, at around 20 feet of water, and I got a 8 1/2lbs walleye just trollin' with a regular jigg head and some worms, seems like thats what work best on my lake :)

  • @DuelistRookie Nice walleye! Stick with what works!

  • today i caught a rainbow cavali wich was 4 feet that weighed 23pounds using a 12 pound reel using a ugly stick spinnign fishing amazing day!

  • @lafouto Sounds like tou had great fun! Good fishing!

  • Why would you pump your rod u knnow how much slack goes in your line! thats how fish are lost everytime you pull up and then reel down that creates slack!

  • @wallyeye12 You're right about that. Fish can easily be lost if the line is slack.

The trick is, after pumping the rod back, you must reel-in and keep pressure on the line. The line must not be allowed to become limp as you reel-in. Thanks for sharing this important point!

  • where can i find a bucktail jig?

how good is the viper spoon?

  • @Reptilesandfish Most tackle shops carry bucktail jigs. Viper Spoons are generally tipped with bait on the harness and when trolled or drifted will catch saltwater as well as freshwater fish. You would tailor the bait accordingly to the fish that you intend to catch. Thanks for your inquiry!

  • @smallyangler123 It did appear to be a bite but actually it was'nt. Thanks for noticing & good fishing!

  • Nice video, and nice fish....Have you ever fished Lake of the Woods in Canada? I've been there three times and love it. Exchange rate got so bad, we had to stop going so the last two years, we've gone to Chippewa Falls in Wisconsin. Walleye fishing is tough there (not allowed to troll) but the Muskies are huge and great pan fish.
