me and my friends were about 15 yrs old they were one of the first rock bands we ever saw live we were really impressed we wanted to be like them with in a few months the image we had of them was so over that we used them as the high mark as the squarest band ever. things changed fast in 66
yeah, interesting, what was their set like, covers or other unreleased originals? i know what you mean about changing styles,if i like something i tend to just stick with it...shame you didnt take a camera.......
i cant give you much really, this was on a compilation. i have another single of theirs from the same period called 'i can beat him up' (based on batman). both that and the b-side were written by a tash howard (producer/tash music) and a d. smith (no idea who he is) in 1966......there was another band around at the time called the panicks.....maybe someone passing will be able to fill in blanks.
