When you were in the Capra Demon's lair, how the fuck were you able to just mosey around the ground section, circling dogs, with no Capra Demon in sight? He fucking destroys you if you don't dodge him and then immediately run up the stairs.
It's impossible to get a lightning weapon by the time you fight the Gaping Dragon, by the way. Taking the Master Key at the start also allows you to skip the Capra Demon, the Depths, Blight Town and more. If anyone's actually stuck in this game, check out EpicNameBro's channel, he's done a fairly comprehensive guide of almost the entire game at this point. At least he's done up to Anor Londo at this time.
@benzaie Ah touche, you can indeed use the Gold Pine Resin, but it's expensive and also extremely limited, so you have to make sure that it really counts when you do use it.
I bet the barely legal cheerleader girl would be delighted to know a crystal ring shield's (butterfly soul) L2-attack can do 1600-2700~ damage per hit with an enchanted greataxe equipped. Just as a measure to combat any sorts of harassment in the terrifying darkness of course.. ^_~

@chronocrosser If you have the master key you can bypass gaping dragon entirely. So having a lightning weapon is possible against him.
