If it wasn't so unrealistic to play with 11 players then I'd do that, but since it's no fun whatsoever it's better to play with a friend or two and link up using bot players. I think pro keepers is crap, they've made them overpowered and unrealistic, and it doesn't take any skill because it's all automatic with the direction of the save.
@xDaniel36 I agree, that filter idea is a good one. They should make it more fun to play as 'any' in my view, and they should make playing with 11 people alot more realistic, since it usually ends up with 22 arrows chasing a ball around the pitch.
I agree. Pro clubs isss shiiittt. It seems like almost every game the sentence, "fuck it's 5 in defence.. and a pro keeper! Fuck me," is uttered. Sometimes you just can't break that down no matter how many close calls they have.
They shouldn't be an Any, it's Pro Clubs, for your Virtual Pro, and so should be you just controlling one player. The AI are terrible and are easier to break down than an actual player. Things they need to fix are 5'2" speed demons, big coloured afros, VP goalkeepers (nerf them or remove them), AI players have fixed attributes (all attributes 70). They also need to fix the fake shot, the AI need to be smarter and customisation (more hair styles, boots, etc). Team celebrations would be nice.
If anyone thinks we want this change because we "can't win any games" or because "we're shit" as so many like to say, try looking up the record for FGN FC on Xbox 360...
We want this change because as already stated, playing against a load of robots is scripted and very boring. We want to play 100% against humans, so we can see the beauty of human decision making. We'd rather not watch a team of 3 or 4 just play with their Pros in attack spamming buttons so the CPU can do their work for them.

I've been playing clubs since Fifa 10, and the only reason it's gone downhill and there's no variety is because you're constantly playing against the same sort of person - 13 year old chavs with squeeky voices who still find it funny to run around as an afro midget with blue hair and slide tackle people off the ball. I like the fact they have made the bots better because people want to play with their virtual pro...
@Ry3Productions2 If anything, they should take the ratings of the bots up to about 80 so that people are more willing to play as 'Any', then i'd quite happily do it.
@WonLongNob Nope, in real life you would have the ability to trick defenders, with the CPU you can't do any of that and they will read your every move. The only way of scoring now is usually counter attacks and through balls which isn't fun in the slightest.

And i think there should still be gk's but fifa made them WAAAY tooo overpowered... I mean, they can save ANYTHING!!! I think that the Vp gk's should be a bit more easier to get past...
i understand where you come from with anger towards how the game has changed, and yes in some ways for the worst. i agree with how the default players are overpowered and that it can be really hard to break down a 5man ultra defence of defaults. i dont mind keepers means there arnt bullshit shots from outside the box every time. and it can be easy to beat a keeper if you practice. i think all teams should play an any or be a choice when searching to play againest an any team or not.
i would agree that vp keeping is far to broken and should be taken out of the game. i played a match in goal recently and me and my opposing gk got over 9 ratings. the score was 5-4 in the match. now i saved a penalty but goalkeeps hardly ever get a 9/10 rating irl, so why should they get it if they let in a ton of goals. howerver i think the idea of forcing an 'any' is good in concept but i dont see how you could force someone to be the 'any'
I have to agree VP Goal Keeping is fine but take away the button tapping.. make it so u Dive in the direction u flick the right stick in. If you guess wrong you better hope the shot was within arms reach of your current position. You played the other FIFAs. You know all the glitch goals you can make vs the AI Goal Keep. Even leaving it the same but lowering the max VP GK to 80-85 could keep it realistic, as they are beatable with a normal shot but after 85 they are superhuman with magnet hands
I loved clubs in FIFA 11, and me and my friends didn't use an any player back then, but it was still fun, FIFA 12 clubs isn't good on FIFA 12 because EA didn't change anything about it. Same menu, same format, nothing new incorporated into the game, ie; your own kits and badges

Time to learn shooting other way than on normal matches and instead of finesee shoots try using other, like normal shoots on opposite post and stuff. not that hard at all.

I agree that the human keepers shouldnt be so good. you dont even have to move in the right direction to save a shot. I do find it slightly easier to score past them in 12 than in 11 though. Usually sweaty or blasting does it. Not so sure about all teams must have an any though. The any players are terrible and I find it ridiculous playing with them as they cant make decent passes or shots. I like the idea of creation centre being involved in clubs though... needs the individuality.
If you dont like playing with a majority AI team than find a big club and set the search setting for 4 or more. Im not even that good at the game and its not that hard to score. Granted Vp GKs ae harder to score on but not impossible.We have to keep the scoring realistic seems like u want 6-5 games which is rediculous. Clubs needs improvements but most of them are not demonstrated in this vid.
I agree with this alot, as someone who plays with an ANY for my club (CHEESE) any ANY worth his sort wouldn't let players have such space but then every ANY is different and the challenge would vary in different games!
creation centre for pro clubs is what it's been crying out for, individuality of every club!
Only thing now left to mention is the servers, the amount of time a game is ruined because delay = clumsy, weak, slow, inaccurate passing/shooting players is unbelievable!!!

i love this video, it says everything going on in my head, i think people dont like to lost more than the like to win. the most important thing about playing a computer game is to have "FUN", running at a defender knowing that it is 3 steps ahead of you is not fun, all the goals we score against CPU is generic and boring. the worst part is that when the CPU uses defenders they seem faster than if an any is using them. if not make only any atleast give the option to search for another any club

Transfers, as you would actually be progressing as a club and winning matches would fuel your club dreams. otherwise Pro Clubs would come too repetitive with winning matches and only gaining those points.

This is so true, i mean they even put the level of CPU down to professional apparently because it was on World Class. It's stupid, how can a CPU defence still catch up with a pro of 91 pace :S with ease... agree fully 100%. i find its normally annoying little kids who have tiny players upfront standing on the half way line calling for the ball from the AI. which they inevitably get as the AI are impossible to get around 99 times out of 100 and eventually these little kids get their breaks and score a lucky goal. whereas if they were forced to play an ANY they would almost definitely get smashed by most normal clubs.
@EleckBF Despite popular myths raised by scrubs, not having an ANY does actually make the game far more difficult. The automatic disadvantages you get in certain circumstances where the AI will mess up happen every single game.
A tips: Me and my friends always pass the ball to their defenders in the beginning of the games to see if they have AI, if they do we back out. If you back out before the timer hits 5 minutes you dont get a loss, the problem is still that you have to back out like 15 games before you find a game where they dont use the AI.
I don't understand what people's problem is with the computer, everyone complains that they can't get any shots away or even score. The way to get round this problem is practising and getting better at the game. CPU's don't ruin clubs. Just think if there were ANY players there are a large percentage of them people that are crap at defending.clubs is fine the way it is.
@xLuKeYbOiIix yes but for people who are good it isnt fair that the opposition doesnt have to do any work but attack.. if they cant defend then they just let the CPU.. who block anything coming near the box.. and u cannot do any skill near them.. they let the CPU do all the work for them.. while your team has picked ANY and usually your human error often leads them to a goal.
An option would be good, but sometimes people want to play as their person because that is the point of the entire game mode. If their isn't an option on whether you want to play a team with an any or not, their should be a minimum amount of players with which you cannot have an any (eg 6+ players do not need an any for the game to be good). I also think VP goalkeepers are a very good addition in the mode.
Most ANY's are worse than CPU's. They just hold LT and A and you can't get past them no matter what you do. If you do skills they just kick the ball away halfway through it. There are other problems that need to be addressed first.
I think it should be a option. Noobs that cant play can search for games where people use the AI, we good players can choose to meet other players who use any. Simple as that, win win-situation.

the majority of people who have played pro clubs for a duration believe that it needs to be fixed.. whether you do not think this.. the majority obviously do and it has become repetitive and boring.. no space for skills.. or expression and there shouldnt be CPU online.. it defeats the purpose of online.. needs to be fixed.

Those who say that "ANY defeats the idea of Pro Clubs" are forgetting that this game mode is an ONLINE MULTIPLAYER game mode meaning people go online to play against other HUMANS. They don't go online to play the CPU. If we wanted to play the CPU we'd play offline.
Pro Clubs has become dull and boring because of all the CPU involvement. Every team should have an ANY because online play is all about HUMANS gaming. Human error is what makes online gaming great fun. It's the whole point, people.

@DTMbreh The point of clubs is to play as a team of 11. If you say, the idea is to play as 1 player/1 pro, the main idea is actually to play with 10 more people/pro's. Not with your mate, while you let the computer (which is scripted) defend and do all the work.

If there apparently should no AI in an online multiplayer then when you do pick ANY every player you do not select should just stand still on the pitch. My problem isnt that people dont go any, my problem is the difficulty level of CPU in Pro Clubs currently are harder to beat than 5 star teams on legendary difficulty. Either fix the CPU or add a search option for people who have an any and want to play against teams who also have an any.

My club do not play as an any as we believe it defeats the objective of "PRO clubs"but we often become frustrated by our COM as they pass the ball in the air when they are just 10 yards away,and when our full backs are completely out of position allowing the opponent to score, through no fault of our own.FIXCLUBS

I have to agree VP Goal Keeping is fine but take away the button tapping.. make it so u Dive in the direction u flick the right stick in. If you guess wrong you better hope the shot was within arms reach of your current position. You played the other FIFAs. You know all the glitch goals you can make vs the AI Goal Keep. Even leaving it the same but lowering the max VP GK to 80-85 could keep it realistic, as they are beatable with a normal shot but after 85 they are superhuman with magnet hands

I loved clubs in FIFA 11, and me and my friends didn't use an any player back then, but it was still fun, FIFA 12 clubs isn't good on FIFA 12 because EA didn't change anything about it. Same menu, same format, nothing new incorporated into the game, ie; your own kits and badges

I agree that the human keepers shouldnt be so good. you dont even have to move in the right direction to save a shot. I do find it slightly easier to score past them in 12 than in 11 though. Usually sweaty or blasting does it. Not so sure about all teams must have an any though. The any players are terrible and I find it ridiculous playing with them as they cant make decent passes or shots. I like the idea of creation centre being involved in clubs though... needs the individuality.

If you dont like playing with a majority AI team than find a big club and set the search setting for 4 or more. Im not even that good at the game and its not that hard to score. Granted Vp GKs ae harder to score on but not impossible.We have to keep the scoring realistic seems like u want 6-5 games which is rediculous. I agree with this alot, as someone who plays with an ANY for my club (CHEESE) any ANY worth his sort wouldn't let players have such space but then every ANY is different and the challenge would vary in different games!
creation centre for pro clubs is what it's been crying out for, individuality of every club!
Only thing now left to mention is the servers, the amount of time a game is ruined because delay = clumsy, weak, slow, inaccurate passing/shooting players is unbelievable!!!

They shouldn't be an Any, it's Pro Clubs, for your Virtual Pro, and so should be you just controlling one player. The AI are terrible and are easier to break down than an actual player. Things they need to fix are 5'2" speed demons, big coloured afros, Virtual Pro goalkeepers (either nerf them a lot or remove them completely), AI players have fixed attributes (all attributes 70). They also need to fix the fake shot, the AI need to be smarter and customisation (more hair styles, boots, etc)

Transfers, as you would actually be progressing as a club and winning matches would fuel your club dreams. otherwise Pro Clubs would come too repetitive with winning matches and only gaining those points.

agree fully 100%. i find its normally annoying little kids who have tiny players upfront standing on the half way line calling for the ball from the AI. which they inevitably get as the AI are impossible to get around 99 times out of 100 and eventually these little kids get their breaks and score a lucky goal. whereas if they were forced to play an ANY they would almost definitely get smashed by most normal clubs.

A tips: Me and my friends always pass the ball to their defenders in the beginning of the games to see if they have AI, if they do we back out. If you back out before the timer hits 5 minutes you dont get a loss, the problem is still that you have to back out like 15 games before you find a game where they dont use the AI.

I don't understand what people's problem is with the computer, everyone complains that they can't get any shots away or even score. The way to get round this problem is practising and getting better at the game. CPU's don't ruin clubs. Just think if there were ANY players there are a large percentage of them people that are crap at defending.clubs is fine the way it is.

An option would be good, but sometimes people want to play as their person because that is the point of the entire game mode. If their isn't an option on whether you want to play a team with an any or not, their should be a minimum amount of players with which you cannot have an any (eg 6+ players do not need an any for the game to be good). I also think VP goalkeepers are a very good addition in the mode.

Most ANY's are worse than CPU's. They just hold LT and A and you can't get past them no matter what you do. If you do skills they just kick the ball away halfway through it. There are other problems that need to be addressed first.

Those who say that "ANY defeats the idea of Pro Clubs" are forgetting that this game mode is an ONLINE MULTIPLAYER game mode meaning people go online to play against other HUMANS. They don't go online to play the CPU. If we wanted to play the CPU we'd play offline.
Pro Clubs has become dull and boring because of all the CPU involvement. Every team should have an ANY because online play is all about HUMANS gaming. Human error is what makes online gaming great fun. It's the whole point, people.
