Pikmin 1 is about a short lil guy named Olimar crash landing on some strange planet. He only has 30 days to collect 30 parts or he'll die. He finds lil pikmin that he can force to obey him that he uses to collect parts. Trust me, you'll enjoy the game

u start with louie then halfway it switches to president but u cant switch back to louie that i know of so far

Whenever my pikmin get attacked I save them right away.

Or I use Olimar to defend Louie / the Presidant and the pikmin, and defeat the villians on his own.
