A touchscreen just isn't an ideal interface for serious games. Hence the lack of serious games on the iPhone. There's a reason gaming consoles haven't removed all of the buttons, and why in many situations, the best touchscreen solution is to simply reproduce buttons within the touch screen (ie on-screen keyboards). Graphics and processing power alone don't even come close to making a device a good gaming console. It's about the interface.
That's like saying that the iPod Touch is the best camera, because it outsells Canon in unit volume.
Just because the iPod touch (an MP3 player!) sells like crazy and happens to have a camera or play games doesn't mean it's a superior or even comparable gaming platform to the DS or PSP. I highly doubt you're actually cutting into their marketshare.
Sorry Jobs. If you even cared about what's happening in reality outside your ego-bubble, you'd get some real statistics to present.

They're putting in a hell of a dent for Sony and Nintendo. You just can't beat a 1ghz A4 processor and a Retina display with your PSP or DS. Also keep in mind the screens being used here. Not only are the graphics on the iOS platforms good, they annihilate the competition's graphics. Have fun with your plastic DS and PSP toys though.
@angelusp777 I never said hat Android has more games out than iOS. It;s just that the number one reason why people seem to stay away from Macs is that it runs so few games, that's all. I really don't have much against the iPhone, it's a pretty well evolved phone with a plethora of features. It's probably one of the best developed phone OS yet, though Android seems to be making its way up there pretty fast.
