The more time passes, the more i'm afraid that we'll ave a civilian war between believers and non-believers... Believers carry so much violence in their beliefs...
@Acrimonator Acrimonator, the only way to deal with the the irrational, is with violence. You people must be founnd and killed. Chrs Hitchens in an america? well the americas should kill the guy and send his carcass home.
@Acrimonator typical of the athiest. The primal argument of Athiests. The AD HOm. yet they always accuse others of this, WHEN IT IS NOT EVEN THE CASE AND NOT WHAT AD HOM ATTACKS REALLY ARE. This is the problem.
@nVei06 you fucking hypocrit promote violence and murder, then accuse me of ad hominem attack... What world do you live in moron... BTW, you perfectly demonstrated what i first said, "Believers carry so much violence in their beliefs..."
i dont always agree with mr hitchens, i do however always learn something, he always brings it to the arguement, any arguement not very carasmatc ill grant , cleverer than me ? most probably, charm is`nt everything,

I still don't understand why athiest care about why people believe in GOD. If you don't believe in GOD, live your life and pass on. Don't try to talk people out of thier beliefs. If the faithfull are wrong, than no harm done, right? But if athiest are wrong theres no helping them. They denied CHRIST and will be judged. Judgement day is nigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Atoxx1, your beliefs in an entity you call "God" and a "Judgement day" causes no problems for anybody as long as you do not try to impose your ideas on others.
The problem with religion is that so many religious people and their organizations impose their beliefs on other people, including their own children. This leads to so much oppression and suffering in the world.
I am sure that you are not that kind of evil person. Then the danger of mixing religion and politics should be obvious to you.
I agree. I should not have said everybody will be judged. Some people dissagree, and thats thier right. I'm just frustrated that Christianity is allways under attack , when it comes to schools, jobs, or just a personal belief in GOD. I'ts the new popular belief that if you believe in GOD, you are dumn, racist, or a homophobe.
@frilans people like you are crimmanlly guilty and should be killed. You IMPOSE YOU IDEAS ON EVERYONE AND YOU DON'T EVEN REALIZE IT. should be killed for that. sorry,
Finally he had a chance to express his points, and he seems very much open minded. that is Hitchens. religion must be within one person and his/her god, if it was enforced upon people, then how do you know their deeds.
I have never seen a man so open minded toward the middle east in the west as Mr. Hitchens.
It is my observation that Mr. Hitchens truly does believe in a god...himself. He must be all-knowing if he is able to make an emphatic statement like, "There is no god." To know that something doesn't exist anywhere, also implies omnipresence. You are watching a video of god!
It's my observation that you don't know what a dictionary is. You don't know what atheism is. You don't know what a knowledge claim is. You do, however, know what a straw man is.
Even as a theist, I have to disagree with you...respectfully. Hitchens main point about proof is that the burden is on us (those who believe in a god/s or spirits).
Actually, the burden of "PROO[F]", zasatire, lays on the other end, while "prooving," in general, belongs to the field employing a scientific method, which begs the question: why are you conflating facts of science with acts of faith?
The onus is on the one making the claim. When the chap who theorized the neutron made his claim public, the scientific community didn't go about trying to dissuade him or prove false a notion they didn't believe in the first place. That way madness lays... They simply asked that he either prove the neutrons existence outright or infer to best explanation. God is not the best inference to existence, I'm afraid to tell you.... nice try, though.
02:24 Hitchens: "we now know this very well ... we're half a chromosome away from chimps"
Simians (inc chimps) all have 48 chromosomes, humans have 46. Hitchens will deliver a few useful nuggets but the man is an establishment whore, a tamed rebel, just another part of the establishment's pararsitic game of PROBLEM REACTION SOLUTION (thesis, antithesis, synthesis). video.google JT GATTO STATE EDUCATION or any vid (eg Badnarik) on (the US) Constitution.
video.google Timewatch Operation Gladio and begin to see how its not coincidence that the beeb's HQ has for decades been BUSH HOUSE. Or compare what (video.) google gives you on the subject of VACCINE (eg Vaccine Liberation or Mercury Autism and the Global Vaccine Agenda or The Truth About Vaccines or ..) with what UK media bring.
@TianSanThe sad truth about advisarial interviews is, that it is only good at creating confrontations, and as we all know, once you get angry your mental capacity is reduced.
They make for entertaining TV but they dont contribute much in understanding.
Dialog in interviews is critical, and that require, time and the willingness to listen and trying to understand, and on the basis of that, ask critikal questions. !!!
RIP :(

I like this interview, no one shouting or interrupting,
All that cackle just leaves one more confused and annoyed.

How can he know that unless he's omniscient? Can he PROVE they don't exist??
