  • "Junior, what we are dealin with here is a total lack of respect for the LAW....of da jungle!"

  • Mike Henry was a very beautiful and well built man.Dark and exotic): I wonder

if he is still alive? he would be in his 70,s by now.

  • Yes, Mike is still kicking it in Toluca Lake, CA. Thanks for caring!

  • @stuntconnection Thankyou for caring to give me this information brother. You

    have a great New Years.

  • Mike fue un gran Tarzan,si no el mejor...

  • This movie showed a Tarzan who was far, far closer to the Tarzan of the books than most of the movies. However, this movie screws up bigtime with the animals. It is supposed to take place in Brazil where Tarzan flew at the request of Tarzan's friend. Footage of Africa from earlier Tarzan movies was mixed in. Gennets, for example, which do not occur in South America. Also a cheetah! The Weissmuller movies were far worse with ad parrots from 3 continents, monkeys from 2 or 3, etc. etc. Jeez!!!

  • I never realized that Mike Henry once played Tarzan. I always knew him as the hysterically funny simpleton, Junior Justice, from the Smokey and the Bandit movies. Looks like he was terrific in both roles. I just keep on waiting for Jackie Gleason, Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed, Sally Field and Dom DeLuise to show up in the jungle.

  • Fantástico. Sou fã do Tarzan e considero Mike Henry como o Tarzan cujo físico mais se aproxima do personagem de Edgar Rice Burroughs. Parabéns.

  • what's on Mike Henry's head? a helmet? I admit he and Ely and Weismueller were the best....:>)

  • Henry was hot! Great voice.

  • Henry was so big that they made him lose 20 lbs of muscle before filming began!

  • Hot guy but what the F, was the loin cloth on under the suit?

  • Thanks for posting I have been a Tarzan fan for 50 years, no other Tarzan moved with the power, agility like Henry, he embodied the role, after Ron Ely all the Tarzan's have looked like male strippers, many are very short, can you imagine that Lambert (Graystoke film) in a fight with Henry, or Rafer Johnson? After Ely they lacked being Tarzan, Wolf Larson's show was okay for kids, but the rest are terrible, and that last one on the Tarzan show that took place in New York, that was the worst.
