It is not really the price of American excess - it is the price of unregulated Corporate profiteering. Real wages in the United States have fallen by about 35% since 1970. It is possible to have general prosperity without requiring a slave class to underwrite it. We need robust regulation of corporate practice and the regulation of compensation levels and labor standards in ALL territories in which a commercial entity operates if that entity desires operate in any capacity in the US.
Wow. This has really opened my eyes. The American Hypocrite...I am ashamed. We should all be ashamed...

The price of corporate greed. Why are corporations allowed to treat people like they are nothing?
The GAP stores allow this to happen. Boycott the gap, wal-mart, disney.
