  • But the bag is higher then 20cm , or isn´t it ?

  • you sir, are a legend...

  • is that 10kg? my arse

  • I've never flown Ryanair and probably would choose them if I had to go to Bergamo, Girona or Charleroi. Unfortunately Ryanair flies to these quaint small towns making people believe they will land at Milano, Barcelona or Brussels.

  • Fantástico! lol

  • what about the weight?

  • @derfit83 Depends on what the airline allows. When I went on Air New Zealand recently the carry on bag limit was 7kgs (15lbs)

  • you'll be smelly for a month, you forgot your toiletry bag ;-), nice packing though

  • @lorddeworde

Store anything you need for toilet (toothbrush, dental floss, bar of soap, disposable razor, hairbrush etc.) into the spaces of a fishing gilet or in a belly pouch properly weared.

For the self care, i advise to depart with a set composed by a little bag containing 50 ml of toothpaste, 50 ml of shampoo, 50 ml of skin cream and 50 ml of suncream (it's easy to find a complete set of 4 tiny bottles 50 ml, for just 3/5 euro) and buy the rest directly into the arrival city.

  • It's incredible that he can squeeze that much cloths in that bag. How much does it weight anyway???

  • O_O wow :)

  • YOU ARE MY HERO!

  • Keyboard cat t-shirt. Love it.

  • Bag more than 10 kilos

  • Ryanair is the worst company ever. I stopped flying with them and I am really happy. Someone should do something with the laws in order to close this company forever.

  • Hehe, nice three keybord cats moon tshirt ! :)

  • Ah Ryanair are idiots,I know for a fact that that bag is to big!!So sending that video to the students is just a big joke on them...

Maybe Ryanair staff should spend more time improving customer relations then searching for videos on YouTube...

  • @SDPM101

Maybe you should spend more time learning how to spell some words PROPERLY :)

  • @onereux

Well if you could spell you would realise that their is no spelling mistakes in that sentance. But if thats all thats wrong with my comment.Job done, because I know I'm right! :) Thank you for further hammering home my point :)

  • @onereux

And I'm sorry aswell, but are you not from Spain??So dont even try and comment on the use of the English language, from my experience of Spanish people speaking English there is nothing they can comment on!

  • @SDPM101 Oh yeah, because Spanish people can´t speak English properly,RIGHT?

Where are you from my friend? You are full of prejudices.

  • @SDPM101 Oh yeah, because Spanish people can´t speak English properly,RIGHT?

  • @SDPM101 the fact that i live in spain doesnt make me spanish you cunt!

  • Ok, just because Ryan-Air and CNN sent you here doesn't mean this video was made specifically for either of these two. So in that regards, since this was most likely NOT made specifically for Ryan Air, the maker of this vid is not concerned with the 10 kilo limit as most US airlines don't really check your carry-on weight. As to the lack of toiletries, the maker of this video probably does as I do. You buy them at your destination and avoid the hassle of trying to deal with them at security.

  • and where is the toiletry?

  • that's freaking amazing....

  • Am I the only one annoyed by the lack of creativity on having the same 4/5 songs repeated over and over on Youtube videos?

  • @lotwyo no

  • Still over 10 kilos, defs.

    F*ck you O' Leary.

  • This is complete rubbish. It is the books and laptop that make up the weight. Unlike Ryanair executives, students read and study.

  • @shephia

Few tricks for You and for anyone would want to fly with a low cost airline:

    1) Purchase a netbook (1 kg weight) and find ebooks for studing

    2) At the boarding gate wear some clothes (philosophy of "onion skin")

    3) Wear a pouch to store money, documents, camera, etc.

    4) Use the WC after the security check, then fill a tiny and empty bottle with drinkable water (where it's possible)

    5) Don't be rude with the airline staff

Enjoy your low cost flights and spend your saved money! ;-)

  • what kinda bagpack is it? does it have shoulder straps?

    nice vid btw \m/

  • uuuuhm, let me get this straight- You all (most of you) hate on this guy beacouse the backpack he is packing is gonna cost extra with ryanair..? What if he is going camping, of taking the train with two kids by himself? Then this is some usefull skills, belive me!

  • HARP america did it!

  • Pathetic...... see all previous comments. Pay for the extra baggage, have a great holiday and enjoy the flight there by using a proper airline with proper service.

Are you truly getting a deal when the ride to the airport often costs more than the flight itself ????

  • @EoControl What the fuck are you talking about? That has absolutely nothing to do with this video.

  • Size of a cabin bag, but too heavy ;)

  • RyanAir FAIL!

Great packing skills, but what about all the beauty/hygiene stuff? Even if you don't exagerate you'll ned a small botle of shampoo, a razer and a comb (and probably more than 1 towel) for two weeks. MAybe even contacts liquid, parfumes, lotions ...

+ this backpack must weigh way more than 10 kilos ;)

  • complete bullshit, ryanair. Dont be hypocrates, that backpack weights over 10kgs and you wouldnt allow them to do much more to avoid the paying, thats what you have always done and what you will always do. At least, accept at last that that is your modus operandi!!!

also, I didnt see on the video guy any laptop, item quite usual for students.... what do you have to say to that, smartpants?

  • When you open it, it will explode

  • why they dont weigh passangers? some are 120 kg heavy ( much more than 70 kg student + 20 kg luggage) - why they dont get lessons for diet? because 85% pass. has more than 10 kg luggage. Those pricing is misleading and stealing money. 10 kg of luggage coldnt be the same cost as fly ticket. easy: dont fly with rainair!

  • OMG

    0:52

    Did i see 3 wolves 1 moon?

  • @EdwardDiego0 Almost, it's the Threadless equivalent with Keyboard Cat :)

  • Now, put your bag into measures basket and weigt it... No? Of course - toobig & too heavy!

    This aint practical as well....

  • @krepki1000 if you go backpacking or something its AWESOME!

  • @bobbysuger I am backpacker as well - I wanted to say, that (as a response, what happened Belgian students) thi is not a proper What to do video - I wish to see how much weights this pack, I bet it is over 10 kg & you stil have to pay for it...

  • @krepki1000 aha! my apologies then for my previous comment :)

  • cool :)

  • Lol, now you can't take anything out without messing everything up. Yeah, super practical!

  • lol but he will pay for this bag, becouse it weights 24353253 tons lol

  • This is awesome!

  • Ey yo Pac-man!

  • Great! Now make it fit in the basket!!!

  • Obviously cheap companies provide cheap solutions.

  • @forgewire why is it a disgrace? You know exactly what you're getting when you buy a Ryanair ticket. Follow the rules and you'll be fine. You don't like them, don't fly with them!

  • @KeaneEdge True. So I don't. I rather pay additional 20 euros for ticket and fly comfortable and in style and without this dumb limitations. Question: where has this guy put his cosmetics for two weeks of travelling? And I usually take a book or two to my holidays, not to mention photo-camera, some medicines, adapter for iPod ...

  • FUCK Ryanair ! Its a disgrace

  • putting socks in the shoes, haha i always do that trick

  • I regularly fly with ryanair. if they ever say your bag weights too much then remove several items of clothing and put them on you (ie. jumpers and jeans), infront of the ryanair staff. Smile at them and say thank you very much, before boarding your plan with ALL your luggage.

  • @DUBnDOOM Tried it and it works but with a different airline. Thanks for the tip dude.

  • Thumps up on the packing, but thumps down for that HORRIBLE SONG!

  • @knackehaxanElite It's the Benny Hill classic song ... watch some Benny Hill videos and you'll see why they used it

  • great ability and it's a nice trick but besides the obvious lack of toiletries I´m really curious about the size of the bag. Naturally it fits in the cabin and probably has the size stated in ryanair's baggage conditions but I bet it doesn't fit in the baggage sign at the boarding desk and so the bag would go to the haul and he would have to pay for that extra anyway or be denied boarding.

  • Dirty so, and so. He doesn't pack any toiletries or even a toothbrush. Just goes to show what class of people Ryanair want on their planes.

  • @marcuswardtaylor

the class of people who fly ryanair are smart fuckers, not getting ripped off by expensive airlines.

a toothbrush and toiletries can be bought on arrival, instead of having to be dumped before you get through security checks because they are over 100ml

  • Pretty awesome! How much did it all weigh?

  • @123OBrown LOL!

  • He forgot his dildo and toiletries

  • Well done, will it now weigh any less? I don't think this will help with with bags being over-weight.

  • well done but how much does it weigh????

  • me o2 from Poland

  • 8 people couldn't pack all their stuff into backpack.

  • Okay so where did he put his toiletories etc??

  • @misskirstymc1 He bought them when he got there?

  • @misskirstymc1 he is a man they don't use them;)

  • @misskirstymc1 You can just buy some at your destination. You can't take large quantities of them anyway now. (Security reasons)

  • @IanGorton Have you ever tried buying decent shampoo abroad? It just doesnt happen. It would be easier to buy clothes than decent shampoo and toothpaste.

  • Este tipo que es ingles? Por eso no se asea? Donde está el neceser?

Is this guy British? Because of this he doesnt tidy himself? Where is the toilet bag?

  • Yahoo sent me here

  • That's great, but how many people does it take to lift it now with all that stuff in it? LOL ;-)

  • I wonder what Gaylord Focker thinks of that...

  • Flying to the Daytona 500 next week... thanks for that!

  • Doesn't really matter how much you can squeeze in, if it weighs more then 20kg (or whatever the weight restriction may be) then you can't take it.

You might as well have a bigger bag that weighs less that the restriction, so you dont have to jam pack everything.

  • @adamdanielperry It's the inside cabin bag, usually they are not weighed, but have a strict size restrictions.

  • That is amazing. I'll be trying this when I go overseas in August. As for toiletries you can't carry too much liquid on a plane anyway so I'd be buying it at my destination anyway. Great stuff

  • AWESOME !!! flying to New Zealand next week....thanks for that

  • Yuck ... and the handbag, the toiletries, the WD, Medoc, liquids, gifts, shoes outlet, the notebook ... we put them where??

  • Beurk... et le sac à main, la trousse de toilette, le déo, les medoc, les liquides, les cadeaux, les chaussures de sortie, le portable... on les met où???

  • I do check bags at business expense but even if I were traveling for pleasure, I wouldn't try to cram that much shit into a 21" carry-on. And like others have said, what about toiletries, grooming equipment, medications, etc.? This might be suitable for a laid-back college dude but not the average guy.

  • packing deodorant is optional in whatever dumpster he lives I guess.

  • toothpaste ? toothbrush ? I understand the hotel probably has soap, shampoo, etc... but seriously... you sir, are a pig.

  • Is it not mainly weight that extra charges are made on?

  • Good luck when you unpack, with the sheer mess you're gonna create just to get your undies out.

  • good luck getting those wrinkles out

  • where's the toiletries, meds, ipods, camera, toothbrush, and the dildo for his self-pleasuring? What a joke.

  • Comment removed

  • That might work okay for some guy who T-shirts and (2 pair) of jeans for an entire month but how about the bread and butter of the airline industry, those of us who must travel for business. There's no way I could do that unless it was a simple 1-2 night business trip and even then everything would be wrinkled when I got there.

  • @MrTsaani If flying is part of your job, consider the checked bag a business expense.

  • @MrTsaani

Check a bag and don't stuff suits into a carry on?

  • Forgot the personal hygiene kit... and cmmon! one pair of shoes? what if you go to a nice nightclub? not everyone is a rotten backpacker..

  • i am so doing this.

  • I find that rolling everything up like burritos really helps. I mean everything! Fold shirts like you normally would then roll them up! when you're done rolling put all the burritos in the bag nicely.

  • He forgot to pack rubbers

  • I did not see any toiletries, medications, maps or electronics go in there?

  • @CalifaJohn

Some people don't choose not to use those :-)

  • impressive!

  • thumbs up if CNN sent you here. or don't, whatever, i don't really care.

  • @jbdranger I thumbed up cuz i like u dont care. but whatever.

  • Oh shit! i left my wallet in my pants at the bottom of the bag!

  • roll that s&^# up!

  • I traveled in Europe for a month with a backpack half that size. Tip: quick drying shirts and zip-off pants.

  • i HATE this song

  • Well, it is over used!

  • I'm sorry but this is impressive!

  • what was the problem with group of Belgians?>

  • @DorfbacherBier They basically refused to pay for excess baggage when boarding their flight at Lanzarote which required the police to be called & caused the flight to be delayed for 3 hours.

  • What if I need to get only one shirt and a sock and a pair of pants. I have to unpack everything before I get it and redo it again? Maybe this is just for laughs.

  • And then...

  • The problems were caused by a group of "new Belgians" if you know what I mean...

  • @thermo81 Hey, I'm Latin-American (Venezuela), so I'm not afraid to call anything by its name. I thought it was BELGIANS that did this, but you say it was NORTH AFRICAN MUSLIMS that have Belgian nationality? If so, you europeans REALLY fucked up by allowing these people to come to your land and IMPOSE THEIR RULES AND CUSTOMS. You guys have been pussies for so long so no one will call you racists, that the Maghreb now RULE EUROPE. Haha, and to think that you thought the Jews were bad.

  • who d fuck packs a bag like that anyway,half d shit u need isnt there,twat

  • what if security wants to look inside?

  • So you can save the space for phon, shampoo and conditioner for obvious reasons, but....do you plan to take a shower, have an aftersun lotion with you, wallet, cellphone charger, camera, tablet pc, personal papers, first aid, and maybe.....the keys of your front door?

  • this is not by Ryanair obviously this video was made in October. And yes the """students""" got what they deserved. They were "Belgian" as in from a foreign origin.

  • Its still the same weight anyway, it still has to be lifted by the ground service teams and still carried by the airplane.

  • Nice Pack Job......now pay the extra fee for being over weight!

  • @big13lucky no overweight fee on hand luggage on ryanair x x

  • How much does it weigth?

  • @Fifuzzo 22lbs

  • What's this good belgium guys

  • this is definetly geniously packed, but what if i want to grab a new set of undies right after checking in the hotel? i'd have to unpack the entire puzzle :O

  • MDR magnifique politique de communication de ryanair envers ces idiots de belges qui ont semé le trouble sur leur lieu de séjour et dans l'avion. Ils ont bien mérité leur sort et j'espère que la compagnie se retournera contre eux.

  • Free tip: if you want to save your company's public image, you should insult your customers on fucking YouTube.

  • yes.. how much kilos?

  • @semeskinas Thank you for reading my mind. . . . it's very nice how he could fit all those clothes into that small case, but what really matters if you're flying is the WEIGHT.

  • @eamorris Not with Ryanair it doesnt, as long as you can lift it into the cabin holds, its fine x x

  • I prefer to fly a quality Airline like Swiss, 20kgs luggage, 8kgs hand bag, drinks and a meals, chocolate and candies are included. AND staff on board smiles!

Furthermore, if I include the costs of arrive airports situated back of beyond then Ryannair, Easyjet are much more expensive. e.g. Stanstead, Gatwick, Luton to Central London versus Heathrow or London Cit airport by tube!

  • And now a woman, packing her stuff please...

  • @OmeRon82 he said he learned it from his mother.. so there you go

  • Oh my God...! That was great! Gonna try it this weekend! :-D

  • I love Ryan Air, have flown it a few times and bravo, anyone that refuses to pay for what is posted as extra - should not board. Do they think that rules do not apply to them? The unruly ungrateful students should also be forced to compensate the other 66 people for 4 hours of wasted time due to their hissy fit.

    Big babies!

  • @ Thonychil

wie zegt dat ik een hollander bent

gay belg-rassist-maar het beste ,worse bagage packer

  • That guy has a problem. In the beginning he starts packing with his shoes so they are all in the bottom of the suitcase. And in the end he walks off on his bare feet. Personally I wouldn't like to fly on my bare feet while having a pair of shoes in my luggage.

  • Ha ha what a great article!

Dutchies Belgians and lets not mention "them" are fighting about a stupid flight with Ryanair =0)

Say more and make yourself stupid....

Good luck with you all, maybe next time go swimming........ (that is how you came here any way)

  • Awesome clip. But some of the generalisations made by some of the people here say more about the people saying it than it says about Belgians. Every nation has it's idiots.

  • @Rasco023 Yes, but Belgium just has Belgian. Either you are a Belgian or you never met one.

  • @z0rr0rr0r I'd rather have you don't compare me with the couple of idiots on that plane.... Thank you very much.

  • WHUUUUUUUUUUUUUT??? :D

  • belgen zijn gewoon to awesome voor ryanair

  • I'm impressed how good that is done

  • Scherp hoor, telegraaf!

'' Vliegtuigmaatschappij Ryanair heeft donderdag een instructiefilmpje over het inpakken van bagage op YouTube gezet. [.....] Aanleiding voor de ludieke actie is het incident zaterdag waarbij meer dan honderd Belgische studenten uit een vliegtuig van Ryanair werden gezet [....]''

Video geüpload op: 21 oktober 2010

  • Are they really "Belgian students" ?

  • F*** you RYAN AIR!!! You of course know those students weren't "Belgians", but Arabs living in Belgium, which is not the same!!!

  • @MecPlusUltra

so you are mad because those belgians were arabs.

wie maakt zich daar nou drukom

    dommebelgen..

  • WOW my mother can't do that!

  • Comment removed

  • to attack other people for no reason. That's the kind of people our country ( and others...) are getting infested with. It's the scum that has taken over a big part of brussels today and other cities/towns ( Anderlecht, anyone? ).

The fact is most of these 'youngsters' are punks living on the street who only go to university because their 'good' parents expect them to or because they get tuition for being enlisted in a school.

Talking about Belgians in general here just makes u look stupid

  • Comment removed

  • Let me enlighten some of u, since many of you are so stupid u can't even think for yourself.

First of all I'm a Belgian student myself. However, I haven't been on this flight and I know none of the passengers. What is known however is that the troublemakers were foreign. No actual BELGIAN did anything wrong on that flight. The morons fighting on that fllight where african's ( this will include morocco tunesia algeria etc...) And as we all know these kind of folks think it's funny and cool

  • super ...adorei... muito eficaz, agora saberei como fazer minhas malas sem deixar espaços inutilizados...beijos a todos de thesko do Brasil-Lausanne lol...

  • ... there is nothing more I can write about the troublesome group of student (about 20 out of 120) without being extremely politicaly incorect. However some witnesses that were on the plane have been talking on TV ... it s enlightening to hear.

The police made an ID check on everyone, and let go the "clean" student, unfortunately the plane (that was already 3h overdue) had left by then. However Ryanair flew those strudent later for free. The other 20 are now forbidenn to flight with Ryanair.

  • Just to clarify to every one (I followed this in the Belgian news, I m Belgian), the group was made of several, very different school, for cost reasons. Some on the group made a lot of fuss ... they even shouted in the plane "Molennbeek is taking the Ryanair airplane ostage !! ", also beign agressive (fight) with other passenger or other student, and insult the flight attendant. The pilot then requested assistance from the olice, which made all the student from the group (120) disembark.

  • Belgians are dumbwits! They don't have a government. Have gazillions load of national debt. 21%VAT. 50%! (Yes, 50!) income tax. Do they have 100K troops in Afghanistan!? Oh, they don't come along with their own 'fellow' countrymen. A country why too complicated, no wonder they embrace for EU. The Belgians couldn't even tie their own shoe laces.

  • @Brosan1

Hmmm and what kind of retarded being would you be? What is your native country then?

    Please enlighten me.

You seem like a very intellectual person to me.

For now, I suggest you go hide under a rock and piss off.

    Sincerely,
