  • eu quero..

  • Hi. Are sides load bearing. Can you lean against them (or jump from them)? The pool looks great. Would you recommend it to your friends? Thanks

  • Very nice

  • como é duro ser pobre.

  • Wow, I lose it's the best cool shining's

  • I just love your pool

  • how do you close your pool for the winter? I have the exact same pool. thank you

  • Can I ask how much was it to buy because I'm getting one for my birthday to have next summer :D

  • I see that you have done landscaping around your pool. It made me wonder if this pool can be left up during the winter like other above ground pools?

  • man whats the cost

please tell fast cuz i wnt to buy this its cool

  • @psp3004dsixllover Check walmart.com thats where you order them from

  • Just wanted to let you know I built a water fall just like you described yours and my Family LOVES it!!! Thanks a million AWESOME POOL Man!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @scottie335 Thats awesome, hopefully my video helped.

  • Is the salt water better than the chlorine pools?

  • hi i have the same pool as you but we always have cloudy water can anyone help?

  • good stuff man... shared my version of a pool fountain with u... :D

  • Don't forget to add Cyanuric acid to your pool to help maintain the chlorine levels created by the salt water system.

  • Great Setup!!! You would definately benefit however from using a Sand Filter with your pool. Works far better than the standard filter.

  • Nice dude, I have the 15x48 right here at the pad. It works, 24'ft sounds a little better though haha

  • very nicely done. what did u use to level the ground under the pool

  • @superlparedes Ground was mostly level. Had to remove some rocks and dig up some of the higher stuff but it was pretty simple. I used stakes pounded into the ground about every 6 feet and shot a laser across all of them and measured how much soil would need to be removed. The back of the pool ended up about 1 inch higher than the front. If I ever take it down I will re-level and get it prefect.

  • thats really awesome, what size pvc connection did u use to the outlet?

  • @MrEntrican The pipe is 1 and 7/8s inche OD. I found a rubber fitting at Home Depot that worked prefectly for coupling the outlet to the PVC. I use the screw on Intex adapter that is normally used to vacuum the pool using the suction side. The part can be found on the intex pool store sight

    Hose Adapter B (SK-15) - Disc. Use Part# 11238

  • very nice. where do you connect the fountain to work?

  • @superlparedes to the pump outlet inside the pool

  • @superlparedes You don't have to connect to the inside of the pool, see how I did it and you can still use the original outlet the way it was intended.

  • @SJBT98 The pool? I think it was on sale because the box was damaged for $399.

  • I used your waterfall idea, did mine a little different! it's on my page if anyone wants to see how I made mine!

  • Ok, our pool just like this is HOT! We need a fountain I hear will cool the water. If you get a chance, can you tell me how you made our fountain and the materials needed?

  • hey is the outside like a hard body or rubber that will collapse fast? also do you keep yours up in the winter

  • @bigzabra500 The intex pools are soft sided and supported by the metal tubular frame. I live in So Cal so yes I leave it up year round.

  • how long did it take you to get the water in your pool

  • we need a permit to get a 24' pool :( but luckily walmart had one that was 18' x48

so now are yard man is leveling out the ground and the pool will hopefully be up in full by saturday <3

  • Wow, outstanding job guy, looks really good. Nice accents on your edging. We bought a 20ft intex and hope to have it in operation by this weekend. Great job and thanks for posting, gives me some ideas of my own.

  • what size is that

  • Nicely done gti !!! is this a 1 man job or do you suggest I get a second hand, I just bought that same pool and I am about to embark my self in this project.

  • I heard you say you will need to put the saltwater system etc. in a Rubbermaid foot locker type box. Can I ask why and when this needs to be done? Thanks for any advice! Tammie

  • i have a question

first off i want to start by saying

i really like the look of this pool!!

my question is where did you buy

this pool from? and since i live in california

would i have to put this pool away during winter?

  • @K9gohard Hey... I have this pool so I can give you an answer. Walmart, Sears, Sams Club, Kmart, Toysrus, ect. This particular pool is $699 on Walmart's website. they also have cheaper smaller options too. If you would like a link to this pool at Walmart, just send me a PM. Are last Intex Metal Frame Pool Lasted 5 years being left up all Year long. I live in Georgia and the Winter low is like around 20 degrees during. but Intex sells chemicals to keep the pool from freezing. we dont use them.

  • @TheNJPranks wow thanks a lot that helped i just found a pool!!

can't wait to buy this.. walmart's was sold out though :/ lol sucks for me

  • @K9gohard haha sorry. You'll enjoy the pool once you get it up. These pools are very nice and can last several years if taken care of.

  • do you drain it and store it through the winter, or leave it out?

  • I love what you have done here. i actually saw this video on a different site, and have noticed people asking the same queston I have about how you made the waterfall. i think if you put a little more info in the decription, with the basic invnetory of parts you purchased at Home Depot it would put an end to the question. You have inspired a lot of people with your pool Myself included.

  • this pool is amazing.i like your waterfall

  • I'm wondering also how you made the waterfall. I mean as far as piecing it together thats easy but I can't tell how you connected it to the pump.

  • Awesone layout

  • Can you give detailed instructions on how to do the waterfall. And tell how you hook into which parts that came with the pool. Sorry, I have never done anything like that. I sure would appreciate it. Your pool looks great!

  • What's the chances of it collapsing

  • looks great..how are you heating it? I have solar on mine works fantastic. Product called El Niño fro sweden

  • Where did you buy it?

  • We just bought a sand filter pump (we have had the same pool for 2 years now) and it was only 200 dollars. No more buying paper filters YAY! We even tried the reusable washable filters and they were crap!! Love the waterfall.

  • We have tried to buy fountains for the pool with no luck. I am going to show my husband this video to prove it can be made!!!!

  • dang how much!!!!!!!!

  • This is an amazing layout! We were very impressed how you have built up a quality atmosphere for you to enjoy your Intex pool.

  • I just read your info section.....Are wood chips under the pool? Is there a liner under there? Really, I am impressed! It looks absolutely AMAZING!!

  • @FugitiveCon No the are no wood chips under the pool. I used roofing paper on the dirt once it was leveled then a heavy duty plastic tarp. We set the pool up over the tarp then trimmed away the extra. Then I made a boarder around the pool with bender board (Home Depot). I measured out about 3 feet and made another boarder with bender board and filled that area with wood chips. Thanks for the complement.

  • @gti20vturbo After a huge mess and after much labor intensive work and a few blisters, we have leveled it. We added 310 pounds of salt and are letting just the filter pump run the 24 hours per the instructions. My question is now: How long do you run the saltwater system a day to get a good chlorine level? I know it's all relative to use, climate, etc., but your climate is a lot like where I live so I was wondering how long you run yours per day and how long on boost when chl. is low?

  • @FugitiveCon Well unfortunately I think this is the big drawback for the Saltwater System and this particular pump. To keep the levels where they needed to be I had to run the pump 6 to 8 hours a day. This had a pretty major impact on the electric bill to the tune of about $80+ a month increase. I have since debated going to a large sand filter and skipping the salt water system altogether and use chlorine. The powerful sand filter pump combos would not need to be run but maybe two hours a day.

  • @gti20vturbo Yuck!! We did get the largest Intex filter pump, which pumps 4000 gallons per hour. We are hoping that decreases the running time some, but we'll see. I will let you know if it helps us at all on the operating time and/or the electricity bills.......

  • @gti20vturbo FIlter area isn't your problem you have to turn over all the water and that would be accomplished with a bigger pump motor and larger filter

  • We just bought this pool, and now have to level the thing. What do you have yours sitting on and how did you level the site? You have done a BEAUTIFUL job, just beautiful!

  • @FugitiveCon I was lucky enough to have a level rear yard otherwise it would have been a mess since the backyard is mostly clay.

  • @FugitiveCon i agree as well

  • We just installed our pool...yesterday. I would love to know how you made your waterfall. I think the kids would love it! Please let me know where I can look at the instructions. Thanks!!

  • @voxdeun Its made from PVC pipe and elbow fittings that I picked up at Home Depot. After gluing it all together I cut slots and drilled a few holes for the water to flow through.

  • ive always wanted a pool but after doing some reasearch one of these is kinda better because its cheeper to instal and maintain aswell because u dont have to do all that stuff to it at the begining of the year so i think imgoing to get one of thses instead lol

  • nice pool i got a 15x42 and its big enough it will fit like 4 pep good

  • Looks great hope your liner last longer then mine! We had ours for 3 seasons! Got our money's worth out of it!!

Love the water fall and umbrella!

  • WOO HOO !! ALMOST TIME FOR THE SUMMER !! TIME TO GO POOL SHOPPING !

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW! I like this video!!

  • Nice pool I have the same one im getting a sandfilter for it how long have you had that pool I'm going on my third summer with our pool

  • @MrSpanglersean Thanks, one year so far. I think picking up a sand filter might be a good idea. The filter that came with the pool works but seems marginal for a pool this size. Not to mention you have to run it 6+ hours a day which can double the average electric bill.

  • nice nice !

  • Nice set up!

  • that is nice

  • @SteeperAce Thanks, its still going strong with a good amount of use this summer. I have had to clean the salt water system plates twice but other than that its been perfect.
