  • who was that dumbass who pressed "dislike"?

  • what are you playing from 0.58 to 1.07? the bell sounding stuff

  • @spoonfulism Those are called chimes or tubular bells.

  • @AllYouNeedIsLub awesome, you did a really nice job here and in the because cover. thanks for the info!

  • this is absolutely brilliant! i'm in the process of recording this song for my A2 music tech recording, & was just wondering what software you used to speed the mixdown up a semi-tone? and also whether you were able to get hold of the original in the key of C? i'm having trouble finding an mp3 so if you know of anywhere to get it, it would be greatly appreciated :)

  • @hollywollydownton I would think most audio editor programs should be able to do a speed change. Keep in mind, you want the pitch and the "tempo" of the song to change together (like it does in the analog world of records and tape). The free software Audacity has an effect called "Change Speed" that accomplishes this. I think a setting of 5 percent should work. You could even use this on the original recording (-5 percent) to slow it down to the key of C.

  • I see Pete Best was here expressing his opinion...

  • Brilliant cover!!!! You kind of remind me of Gale from Breaking Bad. Keep up the excellent work.

  • Great. I didn’t see they are all you before I read your comments.

Only I noticed clarinet person was you. I practiced this song many times with this and

sung this yesterday at some party with piano, clarinet and horn. Thank you. From Japan.

  • Man... you even rolled your "R"s like Paul does. this is ridiculous, my friend. good work!

  • excellent!!

  • Great!! How long it took it ??

  • @6strings59 Some of the instruments were recorded almost two years earlier. It didn't take two years to make, but the project had to be "put on hold" at times.

  • I almost can hear the intro of Lovely Rita in the end of the video

  • The best cover! Great! Well done.

    Please more! ;)

  • What age did you begin playing each instrument? Great cover by the way.

  • @Sidian I started playing clarinet when I was 9. I started teaching myself piano and guitar when I was 12. Bass came from playing the guitar. I don't consider myself a real drummer (but I do play a little).

  • @Ukuleleboy100 Do you mean at the same time? :) I don't want to indicate a specific number, because I might choose to learn something new at some point.

  • @AllYouNeedIsLub well, not at the same time, just in general.

  • @Ukuleleboy100 Somewhere around 9 or 10 instruments I think...

  • This is maybe the best thing I've ever seen on youtube...It sounds soooo close to the original and you even kind of look like Paul. I'm definitely subscribing!

  • GENIOO!

  • you're amazing

  • You are A multi-talented man! I am indeed jealous of your skills. I can play only about 4 instruments. Only one i can play actually reading music, the others are just tabs, videos, or ear...... anyway great cover.

  • i found this via mismag822 :3

  • What an Amazing job. You put the same kind of effort, detail and quality that the Beatles/ George Martin would have in putting this together.

  • This cover is amazing, one of the best I have ever heard/seen

  • Is there an instrument you DON'T have? jaja

    IMPRESSIVE!!!! YOU'RE AMAZING!

  • excelente me gusto mucho felicidades

  • This is fantastic, possibly the best cover of any song i have seen on here!!!! Love it

  • Cara, edições de vídeo e músicos multiinstrumentistas eu vejo toda hora na internet, mas nunca havia visto uma pessoa chegar tão perto da perfeição de uma música dificil como essa como você fez. Parabens.,! ( E o que é o sino !!!??? Muito afudê!! )

ENG> Man, video editions and multiinstrumental musicians I see every time on web, but I never have seen a person get so close to perfection like you did. Congs! ( And what the fuck is that great bell???!!! )

  • @diegoala Thank you! (and thank you for the English translation) By the way, the bells are called chimes, or tubular bells.

  • Very good!!!

  • 素晴らしい完成度!他のcoverも見てみたいです。

  • I was watching this, and about halfway, it dawned on me. I said, "What?! This guy knows how to play a lot of instruments..." I can only play 3 so far. :p

  • Great cover master

  • In what order did you record the parts?

  • Any instruments you don't own? Great cover man

  • Sounds like the real deal. Great!

  • Dude you look like 28 or so, not 44.

  • the best cover i ever heard!! good job!

  • THIS IS SO AMAZING! i love it :)

  • Nice tux :]

  • MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think one really has to know the beatles songs upside down and backward to be able to do these songs with the precision and justice this man does them!

  • Very impressive! Nice job. You nailed it!

  • wow this is really good!

  • love this song :3

  • Thinking about how you put this all together is like trying to figure out how someone does an awesome magic trick. The part I'm stuck on now is how you kept in sync on the main vocal part, given that's the only continuous one where you don't have headphones on.

  • @gregs1104 If I tell you, will that ruin the magic for you? :) No tricks here, really. I used the little white earbuds that come with an iPod (in my left ear only). You can see a little bit of the wire next to my neck (I let the wire hang down behind me).

  • is that the hofner 1/500 violin base?!

  • @ncdecay It's a 500/1 violin bass (even though they didn't design it to look like a violin--it's supposed to look like a miniature upright bass). The one I have is part of Hofner's Contemporary line.

  • @AllYouNeedIsLub

I'm quite sure someone has asked this already, I just didn't want to sift through hundreds of comments.

What did you use (in brief if you'd like) to record the audio for this video?

  • Absolutely unbelievable. Wow Wow Wow!

  • absolutely brilliant!!! thank you.... I smiled from beginning to end!!!

  • maravilhosooooooooooooo

    lindo!!!

  • All I can say is BRAVO !

  • I know making these takes time, patience, and effort, but we need to see MORE!!!!!!!!
