I appreciate what this person did here in the video, however the image is blurry, particularly the screen icons and words. The tutorial goes very rapidly and there's no narration. For a newbie/beginner this could seem daunting and difficult. I guess this lesson is for people who are already very familiar with the software and navigating around it.
kind of. you could do that, or u can use a sharpie. also, if u can go to like aaron brothers, or maybe michaels, they have inking pens. Try using a fine tipped pen to ink with. don't use a thick one if u have thin lines. :P

Or you could skip all that and just hit layer mode>multiply, which will put the drawing on top of the color if it is the topmost layer.

if you watch the first few seconds, look in the top left corner, you'll see clearly above the "files-edit-filter-etc" that it says CS3
