The official record for the Common Boa (Boa Constrictor) is 13 feet, and that is for the Colombian Red-Tail Boa (B. C. Constrictor). The other races are at least somewhat smaller. The females of all races of B. Constrictor grow larger than the males. Excellent video, however.

sorry to burst your bubble but the boa constrictor that was almost 20 feet was actualy found to be a green anaconda. it was 18.5 feet. 14ft is about the longest Boa u will find.
very beautiful boa and awesome vid :)

Boa constrictor record length almost 20ft? HAHAHAHHAAA!!!! ROFLMAO!!!!
The record length is more like 14 ft, but that is as rare as a 7 and half foot Homo Sapiens!

Boa constrictors are notoriously docile, I had 2 13 foot bows but had to sell them when I moved :(

@SwedishVampirePirate Yeah, at one point I thought about grabbing it b/c it looked so tame. But I'm glad I didn't--their teeth are sharp!
NatureBreak 2 years ago
@NatureBreak Really? I swear constrictors don't need sharp teeth because they kill by strangling?
