is anyone able to tell me the name of the last song played in this clip? i love that song and sing it all the time, but i've never known the name of it. thanks to anyone who can help! :)
In addition to the photos and video clips of the brass bands, I appreciated the vintage photographs and old video clips of children & adults watching the brass bands parade.
This video collage is a gem that deserves to be widely shared and studied.
Thanks for taking the time to produce it and post it on YouTube!
"Southern Motors Exchange" 2101 Washington Avenue, across from Lafayette Cemetery #2. Business is gone now but that apartment complex next door is still there.
Interesting contrast between the new and the old which was part of New Orleans life when this film was made in the 1950's. Nice to see Kid Sheik, Polo Barnes and Manny Paul and the great Eureka brass band in action.

This was a film without sound. So I tried to find music that fits with the pictures!
