  • This is so sick, has a flow that reminescent of a narrative rather than something that came off the top of his head. Love it.

  • I would say it is safe to say that Scarface is ONE of the GREATEST rappers of all time, whether recognized publicly or not. I wouldn't put him in my top 5 but... he's up there in the hall of fame. He's very similar to Pac as far as content but definitely took his own style and made it work for himself.

  • YeeeaaaaaaaaHHHHHHH face all day ery day.

  • Aye!

  • da best who ever dun it face

  • da best who ever dun it face

    .

  • The beat coming back in from about 1:00-1:07 is just about the dopest thing ever.

  • i'm 16 but dont listen 2 lil wayne or that kinda music, i dig deep into hip hop and unravel history cos when i listen to hip hop i listen to find mean or even a means of escape and dont believe everything "these days" is crap till you try it. Scarface, Biggie, Nas, Mos Def and Styles P top five, am out

  • @9mmicu thats whats up lil homie keep it hip hop listen to lyrics.

  • My Song!!!!!!!

  • CLASSIC, MASSIVE!!

  • Best Scarface song on The Fix

  • This my SHIT!!!!!

  • @jprincehouston ...lol this has to be a joke. scarface is old but he pushed his career for 20 years before he put down the pen to pick up a golf club. he's amongst the best rappers and lyricist in the history of hip hop. hands down. if you aint know bout FACE then stop listening to rap. 110% reeeal nigga.

  • Yall Better recognize A real Legend!!! And G'yeah I said Better.. If u aint up on scarface you's a BITCH!!!

  • Truth be told, I was listening to Geto Boys when I was 6 years old. That's just the kind of shit people around me listened to. Didn't affect me at all.

  • "a triggaman, dealy as fuck with a loaded AK/ spot my enemy n kill' em the american way" one of the hardest lines on the album even tho it was a simple line it was pretty true...

  • This is one of the coldest trakcs ever made. Dont sleep on Scarface! H-Town All Day

  • Real hip hop!!! Best hip hop!!!

  • @jprincehouston dude must smoking at water!! Comments like that prove you are not the brightest person in world I am surprised you have the net and can type. You must be a downs kid. Anway, I don't even need to justify why face is the top rapper in the game. i could go song for song with anyone. His old stuff will blow away anybodys new stuff, that includes drake BoB and anyther new cat.

  • @dmface ...I'm glad somebody on here knows the truth!!!

  • @jprincehouston ...I respect everyones opinion, but you must be one of those 'new-school' kids who likes that computerized rap shit. Anybody who know's anything about rap knows that Face is a Legend..NEVER soldout to that mainstream shit just to move a few more units. Face was King of the South b4 they even thought up that dirty south crap.

Do some more research...Since 1987..Mr Scarface!!!

Oh yeah..jprincehouston, huh? You shouldnt be perpetrating A Real N*ggaz Name!!!

  • @olschoolj you gotta watch j prince tho... theres a reason geto boys dont come together much anymore and devin the dude left trae left zro left i think yukmouth gone do or die..somthing is up

  • your favorite rapper's favorite rapper

  • gangsta shit at its finest!!!

  • LYRICS!! || EasyLyrics . org/?artist=Scarface&title=In+Cold+Blood

  • Sick beat, i think this version is better then bronze's

  • Damn this whole album is dope, I love when artists concentrate on their albums and not just a few songs. You can tell he really put in work on this album.

  • kanye west too sick

  • @MrGrumpy89 fuck Kayne imo, only like him as producer

  • it all depends on where ur kid lives i gurantee a 11 year old n the ghetto can relate 2 this song word 4 word...all music is like thats depends on if u can relate 2 it

  • Def Jam Vendetta

  • @VictorBoom95 Def Jam Vendetta was the only reason I knew about this song

  • hahah ya i remember listenin to em around that age too. i remember my dad found my printed out lyrics to my name is, and he was like this is really really bad. i didnt really think anything of it or understand half of the shit. just thought it sounded really good haha.

i dont no how many 11 year olds would even like something like this anyways...

    but nice track for sure

  • I started listening to Eminem at age 8-9

  • And not just the mainstream shit, I bought Marshall Mathers LP and Slim Shady LP and then later the Eminem Show.

  • You are all wrong and ignorant... "Because he's 11"... If you Judge one's understanding by one's age... then you are not as wise as you think are.

It's not like a kid is stupid enough to pick up a gun and rob a shop because a rapper said so... at least not where I'm from.

    I'm open for debate!

  • I respectfully disagree....11 is an impressionable age. You are correct in that you cannot judge someone based solely on age, everyone is different in their maturity level but if he isnt routed in morals and the knowledge of right and wrong he just might pick up a gun because Scarface said Im a natural born killa

I think its the parents call because when a child shoots something everyone blames the parents cause they should have known

  • OK... Let's approach this differently...

At what age did you realise that killing was wrong?

    I'm still open for debate!

  • That I really can't remember, prob younger than 11 but my point is that it's not a blanket case what applies to me may not apply to you.

So it's subjective and that's why I think the parent should make that decision and it doesnt just apply to killing. Face talks about robbing people, doing drugs, selling drugs and the harsh reality of the ghetto that a young kid may not understand

  • I have a question for youas a child (early teen) did you ever go to school, the mall (wherever) repeating stuff you saw in a movie or heard in a song?

Would you want your child quoting Scarfaceeven if he/she never acted on it?

  • If I like the lyrics I still do! (I'm only 15) but I don't and didn't take it to heart.

Ok. How many people have you heard of that killed someone or died because of rap......

Now how many people have you heard of who died in trying to impersonate some sort of cartoon?

  • dats some epic shit here, Scarface's flow is just fuckin priceless, no more or less.. 5!

  • Damn Kanye...

  • scareface smashes it he 1 of the hardest on def jam vendetta n hes at tha start aswel

  • 'A triggerman deadly as fuck wid a loaded ak,spot my enemy and kill um the american way'

best line of this great song, scarface killed it

  • TEXAS STAND UP!!!

    top 5(6) best TX rappers

    1. Scarface

    2. Chamillionaire

    3. Z-Ro

    4. Devin The Dude

    5. UGK

  • Whoever gave you thumbs down on UGK / Scarface / Z-ro / Devin bein the best is smokin Crack... I dont know if I'd put cham in that category ... but those 4 for sure UGK counts as 2 for me though, cuz bun and pimp flip different styles

  • im only 11 and i hate dis fake hip hop dey makin now i like stuff lik dis mr.scarface or born killer

  • You need to learn about hip Hop . Scarface is as real as you can get son...

  • i know about hip-hop scarface is mi fav rapper

  • oh my bad little man I misread your comment sorry for bein a dick... I thought you said scarface was fake I was like waaaaaaaaa haha

you have good taste for bein so young... most of these young cats listen to soulja girl .... gj for findin scarface =]

  • its kool i actually discovered it frum mi uncle when i waz 4

  • "I can squeeze without blinkin, I'm a cold blooded nigga, bank robber...I'm a natural born killa/drug dealer, anything it took to survive, even if it took a nigga to die, I'm a gangsta right"

I'm the biggest Face fan out here so dont get my angle confused on this. I have an 11 year old brother and honestly I'd rather him listen to Soulja Boy than this kind of material. He's a smart kid and knows right from wrong but I still feel its wrong in principal for him to take liking to this so young.

  • hell nah I wouldn't let my 11 year old cuz listen to this .. lol

  • I'm glad you see my point on this. Alot of people are like "Man fuck that. Let that lil nigga hear some REAL shit! Play him some NWA. Play him some Snoop Dogg" and I'm just like wow. Maybe in his teen years its something he'll develop a taste for on his own and hopefully he'll know to take it as entertainment and nothing more but I'm not about to have my 11yo brother walkin around spit'n the lyrics to "Straight Outta Compton".

  • Yea I started listening to Eazy E when I was 8 or something... wish I wouldnt have lost some of my innocence that way lol probably why my mouth is so damn foul

  • @FEKing2727 i feel watchu sayin, im15, been listenin to face since i was six, only person intruduced it to me was my uncle bt iliked it, cz iundertood wat dude was sayin on sum real, ye iwldnt promote this but hey everybody goin feel like murkin some one sooner or later itz just the way u was brought up bkuz my momz stayed onme nt to take da music seriously so aye if h like this kind of music he gt good taste

  • Real talk. I always felt like Scarface / Geto Boys were more adult music. Not because of the language, but because of the depth. I was only 8 when I heard "mind playing tricks on me," for example, but I didn't really -get- the song until I was maybe 18, 19.

  • i feel you maybe if he was older you would be more comfortable

  • @FEKing2727

I'll agree with you. I'd say this album is better for the kids (barring this track and maybe the third to last and last tracks) though... got some real spiritual talk in there.

  • @FEKing2727 i agree and i love scarface

  • @FEKing2727 I feel That 100%...but my son is 12...and he can't get enough of Face man....But he totally understand it's just MUSIC! I trust and pray that he doesn't get things twised...I really take away the LYRICS...this Track is freakin HOTTTTT!!!!!! But yes I do Feel You 100 my brutha!

  • @FEKing2727 wanka

  • @FEKing2727 I could see you not wanting him to listen to Scarface at a young age, don't get me wrong. Listening to Soulja Boy isn't much better though..

  • @FEKing2727 me 2...i lov scarface

  • @FEKing2727 Take it like a movie man. This verse is epic ! Just close your eyes and visualize...

  • @FEKing2727 I feel you but there's still better options out there for him than Soulja Boy. Hell, he can at least listen to Drake or something. Anything other than Soulja Boy.

  • @FEKing2727 That's admirable, but at least introduce him to good music. There's a ton of great hip-hop (i.e. Special Ed's first album, Eric B. and Rakim's first three, EPMD's first four, etc.) that'll at least give him some better options than Soulja Boy, of all things.

  • @FEKing2727 I feel you man, I'm glad my brother just let me listen to Nas and 2pac b4 he went all thug life and shit. I didn't start listening to scarface until I was 15. Everyone older than me use to always say that this fool was the greatest, and I would be like "Naw, 2pac is the greatest!" or some shit like that, the my uncle played this album for me while we were ridin to a picnic. It was then that I learned what was real (face, em, pac, nas, cube, rakm) and what was bullshit (todays music)

  • In my opinion,he is the best rapper from da south side!!!

  • KANYE MURDERED THIS TRACK......

  • Def Jam Vendetta!!

  • good shit

  • shit i miss real hip hop

  • scarface, raekwon and of course Kool G Rap = 3 kings of mafioso hiphop

  • mac dre

  • hard to believe that kanye produced this cuz it sounds nothing like his style now

  • Even though Kanye is most known for his soul beats, he can always switch it up when fitting.

  • @arsenalfckkri yea dat makes sense

  • one of my favorite albums of all time and it's great to bump in the car every track is nice on here

  • DAMN Brad Jordan is one the realest rappers I've ever heard

  • Real Shit

  • Nobody can touch Face

  • king of the south, this tune is addictive

  • i liked fighting to this song on DEF JAM VENDETTA

  • kanye west produciiinn yalll

  • this is a cold blooded song yo

  • Where'd the sample come from?

  • Realess raper who ever lived !!!!!!!!!!

  • its a thin red line between a ni**a getting his and me getting mine...face is hard

  • best song of the Fix, which is a classic LP

  • damn scarface said I'mma die standing up cause I'mma stand up nigga. that shit is hard.

  • old skool beats rule dont like the new shit if u dont mind me sayin

  • my nigga kanye can produce some beats.

  • Kanye is a monster on tha boards and Facemob just rode tha hell outta this beat

  • this wasntight when i first heard it on it def jm vendetta but this is gansta tight

  • this was so beesty it was on def jam vendetta

  • pimpin beat

  • dis song is awesome... fa real... got good beats dude

  • scarface got sick beatzzz

  • Damn why aint kanye producing beats like this anymore? this beat is AFuckingMazing

  • Because back in the day when this came out Kanye was actually still grindin it out trying to get his name out there, so everything he made back then was straight fire. Now he can make some mediocre beats, spit whatever he wants over it and millions will buy it regardless. He still has the potential to make beats like this all day, he just doesn't have to anymore so I doubt he'll ever get back to that old school level, which is a shame because early 2000's is when Kanye was at his best IMO.

  • Best gangsta rap song ever!!!!!!!

  • Kanye West is a fucking GENIUS!!!

  • This was mah shit here. Always had a home in the dash.

  • Uncle Face rips this song. One of his best if not the best album by face. Every track u can just let it play. U can't do that with many albums today!

  • This is one of the last songs of hip hop as we know it. before the floodance of BS.

  • A True lyricist, the best storyteller besides Slick Rick. If Scarface aint mentioned as one of the South's best, dont claim to be a true hip hop fan.

  • Fuck 1 of the South's best, 1 of the best period!

  • damn straight

scarface is the REAL king of the south, not T.I.

t.i.p had to ask uncle face if it was ok with him to call himself king of the south

  • That is true

  • no disrespect o scarface but i think ghostis next in line behind slick

  • ghostdini is one of my favorites but he's not as descriptive as Face. Face is better at expressing himself than ghost. Face is like a novelist. Ghost is more creative with the slang but he cant hang with Face on the storytelling tip. I love Ghosts animated tales though and his constant reference to his big guns('I keep big Shirley on my side so what's happening")

  • tite as song to ride to. big ups to Scarface

  • This beat is just nasty as hell. Great Gladys Knight sample.

Wish 'Ye was still on this shit.

  • its funny how wen some1 mentions bad music soulja boy always pop up

dats messed up even though it kinda true

  • lmao

  • sick

  • It is for myself the best album scarface ever dropped

  • dis song is da shit

  • this song deservese thumbs up!

  • And that comment deserves thumbs up!

  • dis song iz dope..... classic.....

  • this is music! not that soulja boy shit

  • Dope nasty beats

  • A don in the game. One of the most consistent flows ever....

  • Only CD that brings back memories and i wouldnt even skip a track.

  • a trigga man, deadly as fuck wit a loaded AK...spot my enemy and kill em the american way.

  • I spit this cearly so you hoes will understand me!!!

  • my bad I did not spell clearly correctly

  • KANYE MERKED THE BEAT AS DID SCARFACE!

  • i turned a dream into reality, wit a fuck you mentality

  • KANYE KILLED THIS BEAT

  • Dope song over a CLASSIC Gladys Knight & The Pips sample!

  • diz iz 1 my favz Unkle B.R.O.C Sarface iz A real MC 4 sho !!!!!!!!!

  • Scarface is definitely top 5 dead or alive. A street poet who tells it how it is. For longevity alone he should be on that list- always comes correct. Always.

  • ' i turn a dream into reality, with a fuck you menatality' ahhh the lyrics crazy!

  • Underrated

  • definitely!

unfortunately not the only one who is

  • gladys knight & the pips sample. damn this go hard.

  • dis my song

  • scarface rocks

  • First I didnt like him, but for now Scarface is in my Top 10 Dead or Alive. Long Live Scarface!!
