my logic pro version doesnt have any of these instruments, well i can open them, but no sound comes from them? its not finding where my output is routed i think its because its a downloaded version and didnt come with them?
so you can plug a guitar into apogee gio, connect it to the mac, and with logic pro you can access synthesizers? can you also hook up an amp to the computer or apogee?
hey, i have a question.. how do i save space (use less tracks) when I want to tweak the same synth that i used in the verse, and make it different for the chorus? I would usually just duplicate the track using the same settings, but im sure there is a more efficient way to do this... thanks
I have three computers at my studio, one Mac running Logic 9, one PC running Pro Tools HD and on Mac running Pro Tools HD.....
Not only does Pro Tools run on PC, it's actually slightly more flexible with your PCI options since you don't have to buy things known to work for Macs....
i used both for some time, seriously i can say that surely you can mix and record with logic on the same level as on pro tools, difference is you get more plugins with logic to start with, pro tools is not much different than logic, but much more expensive when u want same amount of good quality compressors reverbs etc...i love vocalign and space designer.. you won't get that with protools for free :/
@LoveRescueMeTV pro tools is cheap and you need to purchase separate hardware, but is better for recording, logic is more composing and comes with more loops but more money, I am selling a pro tools with interface for 300 pro tools 7. let me know
its really amazing what you can do with logic studio. i'm starting to become an avid user of the program. check out the music "DON'T LOOK BACK" that i composed using logic studio. i have others too.
I you're serious about a genre of music that you want to produce, you should join an online community for production of that particular genre! There will be lots of written "how to do this sound"-tutorials and lots of skilled people to ask questions. Type in hardstyle production forum in google and you'll get over 60.000 hits...
@mortenrobinson Hey man randomly just saw your comment and turns out Hardstyle is exactly what im working on! I've have joined some forums but wanted to know if there were any you'd personally recommend

Do you record and mix or you compose?
For recording and mixing, pro tools
for composing, logic.

hmm, would be better if you were a good keyboard player tweaking and demoing the various changes.
