Jack was great as James Garner's sidekick in "Support Your Local Gunfighter" and "Support Your Local Sheriff". Two completely different movies directed and written by the same people, with pretty much the same exact cast in both of them. Classic comedy Westerns, not quite in the same class as "Blazing Saddles", but great anyway.

This is even better than the original Kansas City Confidential.

Besides the hard talkin' and hard hittin' tough guy acting, the best part of the film is watching a young jack Elam chain smoke AND get bitch slapped all over the place.

You get a 5 star/ AWESOME rating from me. I'm saving this.
