@SahrThundermane as a drummer i focus on the rhythm section, i.e. bass and drums. all both of the sections have to be equally talented, and les far passes this guy. herb was waaay more talented

@DrumBum561 Herb didn't want to go back on tour with them. As far as Jay Lane goes, he's a funkier drummer then Herb. I think that his drumming style fits very well with the new album, especially because it has more funk then metal. Herb is definitely a much better metal/hard rock drummer then Jay is. Pick your poison, but I can see why old time Primus fans do not think Jay is as good as Herb. But give Jay credit, he is one of the more talented drummers out there.

@msteinkohl I think that Herb was more influenced by funkier stuff, actually. Listen to some of his live stuff; he changes things up, accents here and there, never played the same fill twice. This guy, I can tell where he is going. There's just not that spontaneity I like. Herb sounds like a more metal Carter Beauford to me

@coreymilne nah sorry, just the two songs from the show. Jimmy Kimbal (or whatever his name is) only had these two songs for a few days before removing; so I took what footage I could. ;-)
