well, HG/SS were remakes, so maybe they didn't want to redo crystal as well, they didn't do a third for firered/leafgreen which were remakes either

Well, it's possible to add another attribute to the bunch. Didn't they add Dark and Steel in the second generation? I see no problem in creating a Light attribute to counter Dark, although between Ghost type moves, Psychic, Dark, and Light, Things could get awfully confusing. I do like the idea of three dimensional cities though. That was a positive move.

just to tell everyone a quick update, the fact that zekrom is half electric was seen on pokemon sunday on a blog, but they removed this quickly, so at the moment its still not verified what zekrom's second type is
