  • John sure made that solid state Kustom amp sound good.

  • CCR was a GREAT ROCK group back in the day!

  • All the talent in this band

  • John Fogerty had al

  • FANTASTIC..

  • good song, ridiculous haircut

  • goood

best if you drive with your car on the route 66

  • Creedence Clearwater Revival *---*

  • no no, the real lyric is there's a BAD MOON...on the right. nyuk nyuk

  • There's a bathroom on the right and 16 peeps couldn't find it.

  • Anybody know the date and location of this concert?

  • Musica pra cabra macho nenhum botar defeito.

  • John is playin outa e the other guitar is in D Shead some light on this. No one has a kapo

  • 16 people dont see the bad moon rising

  • I'm -9999999999 and I love this song.

  • This song referred to our troops in Nam. The full moon lit up their sillhouette

  • Surprisingly, this song refers to the Holy prophecy of Jesus Christ (revealed recently) about the sad death of America (as a continent) - after frequent earthquakes, hurricanes and flood the ocean will cover it just before the apocalypse, as it is a second native land of anti-christ.

  • Ever notice how most of today's country music sounds like CCR 40 years later

  • I wanna get one of those old school guitar slingy chords

  • I fell in love with John's guitar

  • 15 people have shorter guitar cables than John.

  • @faw217 nice

  • @faw217 Yea and by the way: Long guitar cables was too expensive in that year?

  • ccr is the greatest band

  • Beats the shit outta rap. Rap is the devil compared to this

  • Those good old days ... I love that music!

  • Those good old days ... I love that music!

  • @DustXboy yeah man, I understand that... but all this just sound as like: 'I'm 12 and like this song, you see that? i'm 12 and like this song, this make me some kind of special creature' Y'know, age has not to do with musical taste and how old you are doesn't affect you way of thinking and choosing.

  • 15 idiots are disliking this !

  • @Super6Duper they can't see the bad moon rising

  • Hey peeps. It won't be another band like this one ever,, radio is about Justin B miley S and all that crap

  • Leather pants and plaid shirts, Ol' John had his style

  • Un bella cancion

  • I've always loved Fogerty's tone from back in the day. Even with that horrible Kustom amp he favored, no pedals or board effects, he has an amazing swamp tone. I've tried to play through these solid state Kustom amps, and they invariably sounded shrill and unmusical, yet when Fogerty plug in, it just sounds right. Amazing.

  • All the people living on Irene's way: please take care.

  • equipament don't make a good artist, talent does.

  • Wow. This is recorded through a whale's ass and still sounds GREAT.

  • Long Live to Credence! Long Live to Oldies Revival! And Long Live to ClearWater!

    ccr will live on forever

  • @shredthespud698 yes sir!

  • @shredthespud698 awesome, great to hear from young people they still listen to this god given music !

  • im 8 years old and i fucking love CCR

  • 13 peoples listen to pop! (The worst thing I could think of)

  • I like how this song is only 2:10 and is a true masterpiece and mainstream music these days are around 5 minutes and still sound like crap!!!

  • all you needed back then was 4 people and a stage

  • Not a musician, but I like the CCR sound better, what a great sound!!!!

  • The smallest guitar leads ever!

  • Good song

  • gotta love John's expression at 0:50

  • @thatNESfan oh yes lol

  • what chords is he playing? it doesnt look at all how i play it

  • @fossilbox1991 Looks and sounds like he's playing E major, if you want to play along just move whatever key you play in along accordingly to match E.

  • Bring back coil cords.

  • you just dont find bands like this anymore, and its a shame to see these great talents over looked

  • Das ist meine Zeit!!Das ist noch Musik!!KL@SSE video!!

  • I love Doug Clifford's facial expression @ :51

  • an very underated drummer and Guitarist ...

  • UTA NOMBRE QUE ANDAS HACIENDO CON ESTAS ROLITAS AQUI EN LOS MOCHIS SINALOA TODOS NOS SABEMOS LAS CANCIONES DE LOS CREEDENCE

  • BAD AUDIO QUALITY

  • FREEDOME rock right here and I know what do

  • nothing againts the beatles but for me CCR was and still better than everbody,

  • greats

  • has anyone noticed that the quality of the music in their live videos is almost as good as their studio recordings. this is because they actually have real talent and are excellent muscians, unlike half the muscians nowadays who have their music retouched a thousand times

  • This song is part of my dna...wonderful

  • psh 12 dislikes..stupid people

  • Playing through old Kustom amps from the 60's.. Gotta love the tuck'n'roll upholstery. I have a black Kustom bass amp that looks exactly like his.

  • CCR is very good and their songs are really good but the sound of the video isn't well

  • great band!

  • 12 dislikes ? seriously?

    screw them this owns

  • we need to bring old school music back..remind the people of what MUSIC is!!!

  • Interesting... The amp he's playing through is the same as the one he plays through during the "Premonition" concert video. He mentions during that concert it was with him at Lodi and Woodstock so I'm thinking it's the same. He said it came from

Chanute, Kansas, but doesn't mention it's actual brand.

  • Plugged straight into the amp....like sticking it in without a condom.

  • This is real Music !!!!

  • Great.. great

  • who would dislike this??

  • 11 idiots..........

  • PAY attention to NOTHING is wireless and get this they PLAY their own instruments and actually SING...

  • Thanks for the upload I like rap and heavy metal so I'm not exactly a new music is shut person but I do love the oldies

  • This song is one of the THE best. Fantastic. ...one eye is taken for an eye..

  • leather bell bottom pants and plaid shirt-and that look never caught on?

  • Funny to see them tethered to the amp like that.

  • 11 people are werewolves.

  • thank you thank you thank you for uploading this!!!

Great bands like these need to be heard with the kind of BS we're being subject to today!

  • Yesterday i was in the mall, my mobile phone rang (this is my ringtone), everyone looked at me and i sais "what's up with you.new music is shit!"

I loved how they have looked :D

  • There's a bathroom on the right!

The bass riff is amazing on this song.

  • this is part of American history folks....great hope those business people who are destroying our counrty....fry.....we want those old times back.

  • Great sound - fantastic drumming really pounds a great beat. This is a unique American country sound non-replicable by anyone.

  • Thats gold

  • DON´t GO OUT TONIGHT !!!!!!!!

  • great band and great song

  • Geniooosss♥♥

  • Give me old school over new school any day.

  • there's a bathroom on the right...

  • @rreeves70 lame

  • I am 13, and I find it funny how today's "Stars" have 1million times better equiptment, and still fail to come close to these "Oldies".

  • @MegaPiecat

    i agree

  • @MegaPiecat

That's a good point and it just goes to show you that true talent doesn't come through technology and better equipment. True talent stands alone and these guys had it.

  • @mrscott0059 or it shows that talent doesn't matter.. music shouldn't be about talent.

  • @mrscott0059 Damn right they did :D

  • @mrscott0059 too true and what good is technology without imagination

  • @MegaPiecat At least back then the equipment was made with passion these days it's sloppy workmanship & cheaper & nastier components.

Gibson guitars ain't what they use to be same with Marshall Amps. They're now just an image/name for someone nothing more.

But I 100% agree that bands had to rely on talent to make it.

  • @MegaPiecat you only say your 13 so you get thumbs up ...fag

  • @MegaPiecat EFFing right buddy listen to them oldies and dont take mainstream crap seriously

  • @MegaPiecat Exactly. That's because musicians from then used the K.I.S.S. principle (no pun intended.) Aka, "Keep it simple, stupid." It was more about songwriting and chord progressions and performing them clearly than about crazy effects or loops. It's virtually impossible to reproduce live what some artists put on their records today. (Unless you're, say, Radiohead or somebody.)

  • @MegaPiecat nobody cares about your fucking age GODDAMMIT

  • @MegaPiecat man i hear yah! and when i was 13 it seemed like they always had at least 3 songs in the top 10 for a few years. don't quote me on that but i'm telling you in 1968 '69 i think they were more popular than the beatles up in the bay area where i lived. dont quote me on that either, but i'll never forget 'the scott st.james express is '''''Smokin'!! and him going right into "put a spell on you" or pagan baby, or one of there's. and they removed all the chairs at a concert so that we cou

  • @MegaPiecat No one cares how old you are. I don't see how that was relevant to your comment at all.

  • @MegaPiecat

you seem to be a good guy. keep thinking like this and you will get smart and "anti-mainstream"! greetz ans respect because of your age while having such thoughts.

  • @MegaPiecat They have better equipment to distract them from becoming greater musicians. Back then musicians would go in with a notepad and a pen, a few acoustic guitars, a drumset, a piano and come back out of the studio with a master piece. Now you go in with electric guitars, one of those drum sets made of plastic and titanium, a few equalizers, fancy studio mix boards, and a pen, and notepad.

  • @MegaPiecat its because digital is not better then tape

  • @MegaPiecat NO NO NO ur wrong they dont come close at all, they just plain and simply suck

  • @MegaPiecat

    Amen Brother...Keep on rockin!!!

  • @MegaPiecat I know right? they have special voice editing equipment yet they still sing like shit...

  • @MegaPiecat you realize today's rock bands play instruments hardly unchanged since this was recorded, yes? The improvement is on camera/recording equipment and cleaner transmission.

  • @MegaPiecat I´m 16 and I think the same. In my opinion John´s voice sounds better than the onefrom Miss Perry´s Computer :D

    Greetings from Germany

  • @MegaPiecat Good pooint, but what the HELL your age has to do with what you just stated?? In every rock song video on youtube always has this type of manifestation - "Oh, im 12 and like this song"... i'm a little bit tired of this bllsht

  • I'm 51 and I remember listening to CCR on the radio.

This is a fabulous folk-rock number, filled with prophecy. :)

    R.I.P. Tom Fogerty(d. 1990)

  • That's old school

  • I love those padded, tuck and roll Kustom amps .

  • im 18... old rockers out there : please name me a few cool bands ! i really love the doors, beatles, bilnd faith, dylan, cpt beefheart, cream, ekseption, jethro tull, eric burdon and stuff... thank you!

  • @maddermarvin check out love and peace blogspot.

  • @maddermarvin -- I'm 25. Don't know if I'm considered an "old rocker." Anyway, check out: Canned Heat, 10 Years After, 13th Floor Elevators, King Crimson, The Byrds, The Velvet Underground, The Kinks.

  • that intro is magnificent

  • inspiration for Stephen King

  • 0/M/Embryo and I like CCR

  • How old is everybody? Please state your age as it's possibly the most interesting comment you can make.

  • love this song , used in the the film american warewolf in london , and this song is brill

  • I'm 72 years old but when I listen to CCR I'm back in the time of my youth. Wow, what a time the 1950-1970's were, if you weren't around then I'm sorry you missed them. I live in Brazil, have lived here since 1974 and today I learned that John Fogerty is going to be doing his concert here in May. I hope I can partiipate. If not, I'll just turn up the volume on my laptop.

  • There are better versions - but nevertheless I like this song (and the bathroom - bedroom's on the right - :-)) )

  • these guys remind me of Huckleberry Finn somehow...

  • he wrote rockinh all over the world.

  • You can see the 3x15s at the right at 0:05.

  • John's lead amp here is a Kustom K-200-A4 with 100 watts, reverb, tremolo/vibrato, distortion, and selective tone boost built in. For extra signal, he ran the 200's line out to a Kustom K-400 200-watt amp. The 200 went to two 2x15" Kustom cabs, while the 400 went to two 3x15" cabs, for 10 15" speakers and four cabs total.

The K-200 has two channels: effects and dry. John used the dry channel for harmonica. Effects were controlled by a footswitch.

Tom And Stu used K-200s and 400s as well.

  • @MadHighway Hey, thanks for those specs. What kind of mic? Looks like mabye a Shure SM57 or SM58 with a nerf?

  • @Glinkaism1 Hi ... it's a Shure SM-57 but the type that mounts right into the mic stand. You might be able to see the foam padding under the mic stand base!

There were two side-wash vocal monitors both sides of the stage.

  • @MadHighway Thank you! I thought I'd recognized it.

In a related topic, if you saw the Grammys, what kind of vocal stage mic was that? Or vocal mics, in general? Seems they kept the same mic all through. I'm guessing a Sennhesier? Not shaped like any SM 57 or 58.

  • That Les Paul is probably worth more than my house!

  • that cable is very very short :)

  • Don't go around tonight,

Well, it's bound to take your life...

There's a bathroom on the right...

  • @phantompanic LOL why does everyone say this on every video. "There's a bathroom on the right." I lol everytime I see it.

  • @mike20956 It has a gay reference.

  • @phantompanic ... you know... my boyfriend recently told me that for the longest time as a child and even into adulthood, that he thought the lyrics were exacly that... i strongly considdered leaving him! ROTFLMAO!!!!!

  • 6 People live behind the Moon.

  • A classic. Too bad their won't be music this great anymore, it's all about jumping about on a glittery stage while spouting some shit that sounds like every other goddamn song that comes out these days. I wish I could have lived through this golden age of music. Goes to show no matter how much shit is going on in the planet, people can still make great music, even if that probably won't happen again.

  • @spo666tty

The difference is that there is still good music about, but it's being swamped by all the teeny wannabes and the "gifted" children of previous stars taking all the record company time, because they know they can freeload on their parents.

    Sad really.

On the other hand, at least some of them are standing up in their own right - step forward David Gilmour's son, who apologised for climbing on a memorial in the student riots last year.

  • whats better this classic or ppl comments haha

  • Hopefully someone got John a long guitar cable for Christmas

  • Katy Perry couldn't sing this..

  • @zamton of course she cant's sing songs like this

  • amazing song!!!!!!!! quality.......

  • Stu, Doug & Tom.They're so much better than the band Fogerty plays with today

  • Lay off the kid Creedence isn't exactly the staple music diet of a 15 year old. It surely is abiut the music and this kid will probably help by telling his friends all about it and keep it alive. Disappointed to find such abuse from Creedence fans really.....sad

  • im only 15 and CCR is one of my fav bands

  • @mattmanmkb smae

  • @mattmanmkb no one cares how old you are

  • @Hoboscouts I do.

  • @davidoffon why?

  • @Hoboscouts Because you don't. I have sampled your stupidity and now you've hooked onto my deliberate fishing expedition. Books line the thinkers.

  • @mattmanmkb who cares? seriously who cares? just the fuck up about your age, it's about the MUSIC, not your age. even when I was your age I didn't do shit to get attention. grow up

  • @low72 U mad old man? Go shove a horse dick up your ass you faggot ass fucktard. I was replying to a comment you stupid fuck. Ill fucking cut of your balls and make you eat them you pussy ass mother fucker. Just cause you failed as music dont mean you gotta take shit out on me bitch.

  • @mattmanmkb if you consider 19 an "old man" then it is what it is. I'm saying, every video of older music i go on to there are kids who post there age like they're special or something. Yeah it's good you know what great music is, but it gets pretty old when age has nothin to do with the music, really who cares how old you are...and it's pretty tough to cut my balls off and make me eat them through the internet...you can try tho. Internet gangstaaaa.

  • @mattmanmkb

lol you're one of those douches in high school who isn't popular, but has some friends and likes to be different and listen to CCR. fag.

  • @Silverfucked lol you just bitchslapped truth in his face xD

  • @Silverfucked This comment is probably right on. Exactly what i think when i see people say things like that.
