@666bafos I was the biggest Nirvana fan. I bought a guitar & started a band because of Kurt. His music & lyrics helped me through abuse, depression, & addiction. Then, this inspiration & voice for so many lost kids, & father to a little girl, did the most selfish & cowardly thing a person could do. He took the easy way out, & left a little girl to deal with that emotional trauma for the REST OF HER LIFE. FUCK KURT COBAIN. His music will forever be genius, but he & his lyrics are a fucking lie.

I don't have to think about anything. I grew up in an abusive environment & abused drugs. I still have emotional trauma, sobered up, & am now a FT single dad (mom left to "live" her life). I'm a nonjudgemental person. But any parent w/ a young child that kills themselves, is a cowardly piece of shit.

@markd325 I get what your saying but if you've ever seen his personal journal notes he was telling himself some of the same stuff. that coupled with his friends n band saying they hated him just cause he wanted sole rights to songs he wrote himself, people telling him that the woman he thought saved him was cheating and being told that his daughter wasn't his, n the constant berating n hate the media gave him. combined with not being in a human state of mind when he did the deed.

But, to me, committing suicide, when you're leaving a little child behind, is just simply unacceptable in my book. You form an opinion of a person's life by the way they were at the end. And the way he went out, just made me see him as nothing but a narcissistic, self-absorbed, selfish coward. And yeah, I was angry as hell at him, b/c his music literally saved, & changed, my life.

@ReadMyNameThanks Those songs, the music, lyrics, the emotion thru his voice & the melodies, they're beautiful. In this age where everything bombards you @ instant speed, where everything has become trivialized, when Google has taken all the mystery out of life, I doubt there'll be another one like him. But, having said & meant all that, if someone asks who was Kurdt Cobain, I'll say he was a genius musician, who was the voice of my generation, but it turned out he was was just a selfish prick.

@markd325 It was a single mistake. the biggest one but should we judge a man based on that alone. he spent his life voicing his hate for racism, sexism and when he still had life he tried to be the best he could be. but by the time he shot himself there was nothing left to kill. he was a great person who let the shit storm get to big and turned him selfish. he wasn't a selfish prick. but when you hate yourself you slowly to stop caring and BECOME selfish. and we LET it happen-

@markd325 I work in a field taking care of the people that are in most need. Homeless, single moms, victims of domestic abuse, addicts, prostitutes, I don't judge any of them, no matter what addictions, vices, or professions they've worked in before. And you know what? They all keep on living, & trying to make things better. Moms, w/ no support, who have been abused, working three jobs, & going to AA/NA meetings. And they do it all for their kids. Find a role model worthy of that title.
