Actually, Theres a Brilliant Eve with kaito-kiyo singing in it and that was the song that had me realize the difference between them. Kiyoteru's voice is Higher than kaito's and usually sounds good that way, Kaito on the other hand is better for lower songs & ballads.

3 reasons why Kiyoteru is NOT Kaito or sounds like him:

1) Kaito sounds more mechanical due to the fact that he is an older model whereas Kiyoteru is more 'realistic' due to how 'recent' his model is. (Excluding the Kaito Append model that's coming out.)

2) Kiyoteru is actually much more softer in comparison to Kaito but not 'husky' like Kaito can be.

3) Kiyoteru can be suited for both rock and pop songs in which Kaito is more suited for pop songs (He needs to be in the RIGHT hands for rock.)

This voice must be modeled after a real voice (as opposed to Kaito's who's voice is made from scratch). It's smoother then Kaito's, it's a tad higher and more.... air-ish? if that's a term :P I like it.

I've always wanted to adore Kaito's every song, but seeing how he is one of the first his voice took a lot to master and a lot of his songs aren't quite pleasing to the ear. Sensei sound very similar to Kaito though his voice is much smoother which makes me happy.

I've yet to find that one definitive Kiyoteru song that'll seal my love of him, but this is certainly a step in the right direction. The chorus is fantastic, but there's something about the sound of his voice during verses that doesn't seem quite right to me.
