@HamalSharatan They didnt get rid of him. If the video kept going you would see that it was just a hologram they destroyed, to trick Optimus into believing Bruticus was gone. Megatron played the trick so he could keep Bruticus and use him in the future, hoping to teach Bruticus to take orders...which he would learn to do in future episodes, despite having the 5 personalities of dangerous convicts, stolen from Cybertron.
