Hi Roy, I ended up writing to the three major credit checking services. Since then, decided not to buy a house anyways. I'm going to wait and see how the housing market does before I make such a huge commitment. No I never did get a clear answer on how my score changed, but that's life.
Hi just wondering if you could give an update on what happened. There is no way a score can go down that much from inquires alone. As long as you do all your shopping for mortgages in a 30 day window, it only counts as one hit. Maybe 5-10 points max.
